Honestly, Qvale can't be that much worse than Breno, there's only so awful you can be. If they like Qvale enough, I'd like the extra savings from cutting Breno.
Between Breno and Brick ($14.1mil) they account for $19.7mil against the cap in 2016. That's a lot of money for two of the lowest rated starting OL-men in 2015.
Honestly don't know why he hasn't been cut yet, I guess when we sign Fitz or possibly trade for Kaep he'll be gone right after.
That money + an extra mil or two can buy them a pretty good tackle. Why wouldnt they just cut and swap him for someone else?
First they have to land that someone else. They are not going to cut someone before their replacement is locked up.
D'Brick's contract is much bigger problem--He is NOWHERE near worth the $$$$ the jets have committed to him.
Maybe there's a legitimate reason he sucked last year. He forgot how to block for a year and umm--- no he wait, he just sucks. Let's cut him. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
A thousand times over. I once also thought there was floor beyond which an NFL player could not suck. WFH owns the dredger that makes bottomless pits bottomless, and he used it to destroy both that floor and that misconception.
I would rather have 3 brenos at 5.6 each than one revis at 17 but that;s what happens when rookie gms get taken to the cleaners by crafty agents.
Man. Breno seems like a likely candidate at this point. There's several FA T's still. Hopefully between that and the developmental guys we have Mac and TB can make it work to our advantage
