At this point, the Jets should not be getting into a bidding war for Ryan Fitzpatric, whether or not it sets the team back for 1 year.

Your "anger" has apparently taken up all the logical judgement space in your brain......... that is if you're actually an "angryjetsfan"

I can see the Jets maybe paying Fitz as much as maybe $12 mil. Wouldn't like it, but can see it, the other piece being about that guaranteed with opt out for the Jets, etc...

But more than that is a problem.

Well, it seems that the Jets are playing hard ball. I love Fitz but not for starters money. Sorry Ryan. Go play for the Browns.

    From Ian Rappaport.

If he wants over $10 mill a year...bye bye. Can't afford it and he isn't worth it.

Brady's cap number is $15 mio and he has taken multiple restructurings to be a Pat. So much so that there could be foul play.

If Fitz wants that kind of money after the opportunity he was given with the Jets he can go shove off. Lets see what Bryce has.

This reminds me exactly of the Jeremy Lin situation with the Knicks a few years ago....

There are articles about him going to the Broncos. That would be an awesome landing spot for him. But I dont see the Broncos paying all their free agents, plus pay Brock plus pay Fitz what he wants. Even after the cap room with Manning retiring.

So extremely overrated player looking to cash out on his last pay-day?

It was nice having him around, but no chance in hell should the Jets go over 10M for his services. Gasp, I would rather go with Geno Smith o_O

If Fitz doesnt come back I can totally see us trading for Hoyer. Yuck

Cant Woody pay him under the table the way Kraft pays Brady?

If he wants 15 mil or whatever a year then he better hop his ass in the Delorian and undo those picks he started tossing in Buffalo week 17. You want 15 mil a year you win that game. So in total agreement with ya here, cya Fitz it was real.
