Ok, I'll give it a try. This is not the "humor" thread as in "ha ha". This it the "Inappropriate" humor thread as in "wow, that is awful and I am ashamed to laugh at it, I'm likely going to hell". There are multitudes of real articles and feel good stories and magazine covers about people being told "you'll never walk again" and through a combination of science and medicine and spirituality and surgery and hard work--against all odds--they do, in fact, walk again. This is a fake magazine cover saying...well...the opposite. _
One of my favorites: This video is posted on YouTube of a blind man seeing for the first time. It's been incorporated into numerous montages of related uplifting videos. Nobody seems to know that this video was made by The Onion. Once you've watched The Onion's version, go read through the comments section on the one that's taken out of context, the obliviousness is hilarious. Some people are moved to tears and others turned it into a debate of religion vs science, over a video of a guy taking his hands down from over his eyes.
