setting up for the future is exactly why it matters. we ALREADY are in situation where it may be impossible just to bring back some of our best players. let alone if we dished out 8M for another wide reciever.

you could argue our passing game could get WORSE by doing that...

because it would almost gaurantee that we would need to move ferguson, that none of our RB's would be back, and that there would be no oline or TE upgrades. so while #3WR would improve, everything else would basically get worse. worse protection.

i dont think we can keep mo, harrison, fergeson and resign fitz even WITHOUT alshon. with alshon it basically become an impossibility

9 million, 8 million, 7 million.... does it matter? we are talking about 25 million over the cap... not 2 or 3 million. the point is, we ALREADY are going to struggle to get those guys back, let alone that and get jeffrey.

which restructures are you looking at that are going to save us upwards of 20 million? harris and brick would likely get at most, 5 or 6 million. maybe marshall restructures again and save close to a million. thats noewher near enough

Decker is a #2 it makes no difference where he lines up. Similar to Cobb with Nelson on the outside.

As for Brick... He can still play and play well!!! His pass protection is vital to a Chan Gailey offence. Should he be restructured? Yes! Will he? Probably.

at this point it's irrelevant. with calvin retiring Alshon to Detroit if he hits the open market is a no brainer.

We are paying elite money for average talent though. That's a big failing.

Average in a league where the majority of starting LTs are below average

People thrashing Cro when he has been a loyal Jet for most of his career but praising fitzgarbage.

Plus anyone who knows Cro that he always has a good season then a bad one, everyone knows he is gonna be good next year if the cycle continues like usual.

I know what it means and he's average. He makes too much, but to say he's one of the worst starters in this league is a bunch of hoolah. Shitty run blocker, but still good at pass protection. It's not like he's giving up 6 sacks a season or something.

You're right we should definitely pay shitty players I'd they're loyal.

"Fitzgarbage" owns your favorite teams single season passing TD record.

Against the easiest schedule, Marshall and decker bailing him out, and folding Everytime he faced a half decent defense, as a jets fan you should want more than a guy who is allergic to the playoffs

Lol when he was in Arizona him and pat Peterson were the best corner tandem, reminded me of the Revis/cro days when they were good together

Yes let's cut cro and put Marcus Williams in his place when Williams got torched in the 14-15 season every game
