Lol. Francesa had me laughing my ass off just before. Was making fun of the Browns getting the Mets VP saying they should get Kevin Costner too because he did such a good job as GM in the movie.
Basically Bowles was saying the loss stings as it should. He hopes the players who are around next year get hungrier because of it. He was pleased with how well the team gelled after they hit some rough patches in the middle of the season. Bowles said the team needs to take care of business throughout the entire season and their inconsistent play really was their worst enemy this season. Bowles is proud of Fitzpatrick, Decker and Marshall in their individual statistical achievements. When asked about giving Watkins a lot of room, Bowles blamed poor zone coverage and players not being able to close gaps. As for the man-to-man plays, Bowles answered that Watkins is a tremendous player and made great plays. Bowles acknowledged the lack of speed on the outside of the defense (which is my primary target in the off season for the team) and says the team will look to improve in these spots. Expects Wilkerson to bounce back quickly from his injury and does not expect the injury to hamper his play going forward. (this is about all I was able to listen to)
Bowles said he was calmer all year than he thought he'd be. Said he's normally very hot-headed. He did cop to losing it after the Houston game. Tore them a new asshole.
So what did he do after this second loss to the Bills in locker room....? Say I'll see you out on the Links?????? He should take responsibility for what was obviously a poor game plan, poor use of time outs and zero adjustments by him and CG Someone has to put him under the microscope I know everyone hates the Giants but TC expected a lot from his players and they knew who was boss=won two SBs. He had a style that IMO Bowls needs to emulate. Till then the CS has lost my vote
Ugh......IMO " inconsistency" is a code word for not having enough talent........ and the lack of speed outside of the D. Well TB should have perused these boards after he was hired. Some folks around here have been chirping about this since Edwards put Abraham at DE with his 4-3 cover 2 crap. Thanks.
The CS staff didn't really lose my vote (except for the special teams coach), but how many times do we have to witness poor clock management? I can't give you specific examples throughout the year but I feel like numerous times we were horrible at it; whether it involved a lack of urgency on offense or not using the timeouts correctly, it happens throughout the course of the year. I thought by week 17 he would have improved at it but I guess not.
So Bowles admitted this season was a learning experience for him..... Right? Right? Right? Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
I listened live and through it all I thought Fatcesa was very respectful and complimentary of the job TB did this year. Almost like he was acknowledging the tide is starting to turn and he needs to start kissing up to a different team than he usually has.
Thanks for the heads up Todd Learning at the fans expense...I thought head coaches were ready to be head Coaches Mac outa contract Tom Coughlin as head coach and be done with it
B.....b...b...b... he inherited so much talent. Don't you see! Besides we are comparing to Rex (who is such a BAD coach.) Repeat after me: The expectations were realistic. The expectations were realistic. The expectations were realistic. Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk
