I keep thinking about those dropped passes where we had great blocks for him to score a TD. A shovel pass and the other pass on the same drive. For some reason he picked up Stephen Hill's soap hands today
His hands are extremely suspect. I love to root for these underdog types but we need to bring in a lot of competition this offseason for the #3/4 WR spots.
That shovel pass was a piece of shit and came out of absolutely nowhere. Not gonna blame Enunwa for that one.
This. We ran more four wide sets than any other team this year. It is imperative to get some more talent in here at WR.
Enunwa is not one of the problems. He could be more consistent but the Jets offense has been better with him than without him this year. The problem was that Powell was inactive and Fitzpatrick was less accurate than he has been and the OL really didn't give him enough time to make good decisions today.
Enunwa should be the 4th option, but they were trying to peg him in that 3 which should have gone to Kerley.
It was clearly designed as a WR inside screen. He knew it was coming, he just took his eyes off the ball and dropped the fucking thing. That was 100% his fault.
I'm on record complaining of his hands....the dude has lego blocks for fingers... oh, and not being on the field costing us a time out...Fuking AAAAAAAYY!!!
It was a quick pass but should have been caught. Maybe you can create a gif of it and blame Fitz in slow motion. It was still a shitty drop. Dude was fucking worthless as a pass catcher today.
A few people I mentioned Powell's absence to scoffed, but the proof is there The 5 game steak coincided with his resurgence and his absence limited the game plan
Bullshit. Watch the play. Yes, he was supposed to go over the middle and catch a pass. What you don't mention is that Fitz had Dareus in his face, so Enunwa didn't see Fitz, Fitz didn't see Enunwa. He sort of saw him, he faked throwing the pass over Dareus who then got his hands up, Enunwa reacted and froze because he expected him to throw the ball, Fitz then did a Hadouken AROUND Dareus which Enunwa didn't expect. It was completely improvised, Enunwa had no chance react that fast. He didn't take his eyes off the ball.
No, but it certainly wasn't a drop. Fitz froze him, he pump faked once, Enunwa expected the ball to go over Dareus' left side, then Fitz just went over the right side of Dareus, so Enunwa had to adjust and react again. And he was just a few yards away, only a couple from Dareus. He's human. He could have caught it by accident, he didn't. Thompkins didn't (the long one). Watkins did (the long one). That's not skill. IMO.
