The only team with a weak punter and kicker, shame thats one of the key to the bills victory field position advantage. Seen it before with new england. Whats really bothers me is the jets never try to fix this during the season.only rellying on the defense to do it all and today the got burn. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Well, I do not see the season as a total loss. We beat the Pats almost twice. Our new Head Coach is better than our last coach. I see a bright future.
Guess what --- They ALL count. Sometimes you lose. If you win 10 games in the NFL, you're a good football team. I'm very disappointed in the loss, but I don't shit on the team for not winning 11 games. How many teams did?? How many teams had 6 game winning streaks? Being disappointment is one thing ... Bitching about the way the team played today is also understandable. But whining like a crybaby and calling them SOJ is completely different ... And that's what a lot of this fan base is doing. Pretty pathetic.
And they lost to a team worse than Buffalo last week. A divisional opponent. Wanna say the Jets dont deserve it thats fine. But lets not act like the team that got in deserves it more. Cause they dont.
Doesn't say much at all. The best Qb we've ever had lost the game for us today. Rex is a bullshit coach. Always gonna be. Sent from my HTC6515LVW using Tapatalk
They all count, and this one counted too, and they lost. If you're going to say they all count why would you bring up the last 5 to brush this one under the rug. They all count, this one counted as a win and in and they lost. If you want to talk about 5 in a row to make u feel better, that's pathetic to me. And a losers mentality.
The season was a good one but this loss is demoralizing. I destroyed my phone watching them completely give up, im not kidding. But honestly, this year felt so special. It was like a once in a lifetime season. Where do we go from here? Everyones a year older and some are a year slower. Harris is older, Cro and Revis are older. Mangold and Brick are older. Mo broke his leg after having a dominating year and we dont know how bad it is. Sheldon, Harrison and Mo, one of them will be gone. Cro might be gone and the depth isnt stellar. Like what the fuck is going to happen next year? I dont trust this team to go farther next year. I havent missed a game since 2002 and im only 21. This organization has been so bipolar the past 10 years. Fuck man. Why couldnt this team finally take that next step. God damn it.
Dumb way to look at it. They shit the bed this week , we shit the bed this week. And if you watched any of their game today you would know that they didnt play much better than we did. Just lucked out that the Browns are the biggest pieces of human trash playing in this league right now.
I just want to point out that another Jets season ends with Rex Ryan keeping them out of the playoffs and the Bills end another season with a Fitzpatrick INT. It's back to the future.
If you don't think this was a "Same Old Jets" game, then you haven't been a Jets fan very long. This had all the hallmarks of a Same Old Jets game ... 1. The week previous, we beat the best team in the league, 2. The Jets controlled their own destiny, 3. They were playing a bad opponent, 4. The bad opponent had all kinds of motivation to play hard and be a spoiler, 5. Our best player was hurt during the game, 6. Our kicker missed an easy kick that played a huge part in the late game strategy, 7. The golden boy (Fitz) who the entire fanbase fell in love with had his worst quarter of the season in the 4th quarter, 8. The opponent used exactly the offensive gameplan they used the previous meeting and we did nothing to specifically defense it (all 3rd down passes to Watkins), 9. Stupid penalties (Richardson encroachment of 4th down), 10. Dumb coaching (wasting a time out on offense in the 2nd half because you only have 10 men on the field) Prior to the season, if we had collectively written a blueprint on how best to demoralize the fanbase at the end of the season ... "controlling your own destiny, and then losing to Rex and a bad Bills team in a squeaker because you fanbase's most popular player (Fitzpatrick) had his worst game in 3 months and your best player got hurt" would have basically been the outline. The only things that would have been worse was if we went 0-16 or Rex went undefeated. EDIT: Oh one more thing I forgot ... 11. Lasting panic-move repercussions - because watch our dumb owner let Mo Wilk go (because of the injury) so he can give money to moron Richardson.
So this head coach is better than our last head coach? You mean the head coach that got us to 2 consecutive afc championship game sin his first two years, with Mark Sanchez. This hc, no playoffs, beat by Rex twice, advantage Rex.
Not sure why you think that our last (admittedly mediocre) HC, who now has a 2-0 record against our new HC, was worse. What do you base this on?
That is what I cannot stand. Losing to Rex twice this year is just brutal. Rex Ryan keeps the Jets out of the playoffs for another year you just cannot make this shit up.
Well, I became a Jets fan in 1968, and I think this year-ending game ranks right up there as one of the most gut wrenching. Momentum seemed to be on our side, yet I had a bad feeling about this game long before it started.
Does it annoy anybody else that all these quotes from the Jets are so ho-hum... We just didn't make the plays, we didn't do this, blah, blah, blah.. Like its just, whatever, we lost. Who cares? As a fan, this is brutal man, I want my team to want this shit just as bad as me if not more, especially given the amount of fucking money they make. They should be hungry, they should be pissed off, but it just doesn't seem to be. It's making me.even more pissed.
