102.7 QB Rating 60.1% Completions 7.5 yards per attempt 1,525 yards(305 per game) 13 touchdowns 1 interception prior to this stretch the jets were 5-5. we have since reeled off 5 wins on the back of fitzpatrick and now hold our own destiny in our hands at 10-5. please genobots and bills trolls, tell me again how this team cant win with fitz or how if it comes down to relying on him we have no shot.
He's been amazing....I'm pretty sure anyone that wanted to see what Geno could do was basing that off of Fitz playing like he did in the middle of the year and generally his whole career He has been much better over this stretch than he's ever been in his career....We need a few more games like this and I think we can beat anyone who stands in our way
I do love me some Fitz right now. However-- I do have some concerns that we are going to be playing in far worse conditions coming up in Buffalo (and hopefully beyond). I have a hard time imagining him lighting up the scoreboard on a cold, snowy, windy day-- like we'll see in Buffalo, and maybe Denver or New England.

Yup, that's a big reservation of mine. We've been fortunate to play in pretty balmy weather for most of the year. Forecast for Sunday is low 30s with a chance of light snow.
1200 yards, 9 touchdowns, 2 picks. he has been pretty outstanding as well. As far as fitz, i dont hate him in cold weather, you likely arent going deep in cold weather, so in that regard you dont need ot change your offense much if your qb is used to throwing short. that said, id prefer clear conditions. but mostly i dont like the snow for defense... a slip here or there and taylor or watkins can go a long way on a broken play

After being bombarded with 'The Year Of The Geno' day in and day out, and people second guessing everything Fitz did every step of the way, what do expect? Some people liked the Fitz deal and were happy Fitz got his chance. And wanted him to start from the get go....There's no way Geno could've done what Fitz has done
Amazing stretch. Probably best QB play over a 5 game stretch in my lifetime of being a jet fan. Vinny in 98 had 11 TD 1 INT over 5 games, Chad did an 11 TD to 1INT in the final 5 games in 02. If you stretch that to the last seven games he had 16 TD's and 2 INT's over that stretch. Also in regards to bad weather I think the fact that our passing game is mostly short to mid range throws hoping it doesn't have much of an impact. We will see.
Yup, that's what I'm banking on as well. The one thing Fitz hasn't had to deal with all year is bad weather. But the more I think about it the less I worry. Our passing game isn't about attacking down the field like the Cardinals do for example. It's a short intermediate game with designed deep balls.
