Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts to call Jets vs Pats

Fouts gets a hard on off stud QBs which the Pats have and not so much the Jets(Though I imagine he has an appreciation for Fitzpatrick unlike Gannon who can't get enough of Fitzpatrick's dives), if you have a stud QB, Fouts will slobber over it. Eagle is terrific.

I was afraid Nantz was going to get this game and he and his Pat pom poms would have been brutal. Then again I find his Pats homerism to be hilarious when the Pats look bad.

 

^ yep, I was sure Nantz would get this game, I'm shocked that he didn't. Maybe they were afraid he'd jizz all over Simms on the game winning drive.

Sims and Nantz are generally Pro-Pats when they do our games and I can't stand it. I used to love it, now its just so goddamn irritating. Fouts and Eagle bring at least SOME balance even if they suck.

Is it sad that I'd prefer Collinsworth and Michaels over almost every CBS/FOX team? Broadcasting crews have become god awful recently. Get ready for the SB with Nantz and Sims this year! While I certainly hope my team is in it, I hope for some actual analysis instead of hearing about how much better my team is for no reason other than they probably want more opportunities into Krafts check book.

 

I don't know who I dislike more.
I loved Fouts as a player, but as an announcer he is just brutal.

And I cannot be supportive of a fucking moron who does not even know how to pronounce his own name!
Actually I am sure he knows how it is pronounced, but he is such a self absorbed attention seeking whore he decided to create his own persona.

"Ion" Eagle can't even pronounce his name properly, but I have no problem with him. He's definitely quite professional. Still prefer Bob "Withhisshoeson" and Marty though.

 

My thoughts are that'll be last on a long list of shit I'm worried about for that game......

I get a kick out of Jon Gruden. You can tell he's analyzing plays on his own and is insightful into what the teams are trying to do on both sides of the ball. Does he make mistakes? Yeah, sometimes, but nobody's perfect. I also like Troy Aikman.

Most of the others you can have. I guess Steve Albert is okay.

 

It's okay, BB. You're trying to be nice because you respect him as a player. But you can say it. He's got no fucking clue, and he's literally wrong about everything that happens on the field.
