But he DID get kicked out of school AND he DID miss an entire year of playing time.

When he was playing in college he was raw, he was beating people just on athletecism. Then he acts like such a turd that he gets kicked out of school and misses out on a critical year he could have used to refine himself as a receiver.

His high school ranking doesn't mean shit, the scrub QB the Jets cut in camp was the number one high school prospect too.

I doubt you've watched him play this year, because he is far from having the word polished used to describe him. DGB is being asked to run only the simplest routes and still struggling with them. He is struggling with the mental aspects of the game of knowing what he should be doing and when. He has struggled with concentration drops all year, he had a big one in the Jets game too. He isn't even winning the 50/50 jump ball stuff consistently because he doesn't attack the ball enough.

He had one good game this year, it was against the Jaguars. He had two games with 5 catches; the Jaguars and the saints, the worst defenses in the league. Every other game he's had 3 or less catches, many games with zero catches.

He's unrefined, he'll probably get better and I'm not saying I wouldn't take him over smith cuz I would have if those were the two choices but neither were close to pro ready. DBG is still far from up to NFL speed, he is the definition of a project

All great points. I haven't really watched him this year. Just knew that I liked him better as a prospect. I knew he really wasn't polished like some others but I was comparing it to Smith. But you are right I haven't really heard fan feedback about him or looked into it further. Still wish we had him though. Could you imagine Marshall mentoring him?

He would have had a better time with us for sure. In TEN their WR Corp is decimated (and it was not good to begin with) so now defenses only have to focus on DGB which is not making his transition any easier.

Did they move Devin to IR? Is someone from the PS moved to the active roster to help on special teams?

And yet he got another job after he got fired here. Good ole boy network in the NFL is still alive.

The first line of Idshits resume is I pennypinched for Jets so they had the millions to go get Marshall Fitz Maudlin Mevi$...Line 2 is.. See I drafted Pryor and got Eric Decker

So far Carr has exceeded my expectations, while Bridgewater is a tad underwhelming, but I still like his gane. My complaint is not having a receiver. Like a third of the league got a #1 or #2 receiver from that draft. And the Jets got crap after round 1.
