Raiders win. They will be competitive against the Chiefs, and Denver needs to beat the steelers now to remain within striking distance of home field advantage. Go Texans.
What kind of sick thinking is that? How about A little more positive thinking, like Marshall brakes record with 5 TDs against the Pats and 3 against the Bills. Go Jets
Broncos can't beat Oakland.. I don't see them beating Pittsburgh... who knows tho... but looks like we need to win out and best chance is Oakland beating KC.
You aren't stupid. With Dalton out, Cincy would be hard-pressed to beat anyone with McCarron starting at QB.
Thanks NC. Boy it must hurt to be a Bengals fan. They could go from playing for home field advantage and a first round buy to playing for a playoff spot or out all together.
Ummmm Well.... You gotta pay your dues if you want to play the blues, and you know it dont come easy... That is all.
I don't see us going 11-5 either, though I suppose it could happen. That Pats game will be brutal and Dallas will be a tough grind em out type win (Dallas D line will give us fits) Still if we do go 11-5 or 10-6 and miss you will hear a lot of Jets fans complain about expanding the playoffs especially when you see what drech the NFC East and AFC South lets in.
Whatever happens, if we should finish 11-5 I will be kicking my heels, playoffs or not. Can anyone seriously tell me that they thought this team should win 12 games when the season began?
At least this year's rooting guide will be easier than the last few years. Weeks 15, 16, & 17 -- Root for: Jets, Ravens, and Browns Need a little bit of luck, but all the Jets can do is take care of their business and go 3-0. Go Jets! Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Before the season, I showed my cousin the Jets schedule. He thought with the players we have and that easy schedule we should've gone 14-2, maybe 13-3. Can't say I disagree with him, we gave away some games.
We went 4-12 last year. 9-7 and 11-5 during the Sanchez AFC Championship seasons. We have a rookie coach. To me, season is a success if we end 10-6 or better. In most years, 9-7 gets you in depending on tie breakers - this was an odd year.
Hard to believe the lack of attendance at the game yesterday considering everything. Just embarrassing people.
we got our biggest win of the season last week, and possibly our best performance of the season this week, and yet our playoff odds have actually decreased. .....so frustrating
I think the Jets would be both NFC East and AFC South Champions by now What a joke. When do we get a division where the winner is 8-8 or 9-7? Or even 7-9. How is this fair? It's like in baseball if a 95 win team misses the playoffs and in the next division you have a 72 win team winning it's division. If the Jets are 10-6 or god forbid 11-5 and out I expect big changes with the NFL playoffs can you imagine if the Giants missed at 11-5 how the Mara's would be whining? Heck they whined like crazy after the Beckham Patriots drop earlier this season and the NFL will now change the rule this offseason because of that. Wish we had that kind of pull.
it's very rare to have a perennial 12+ win team in this league. of course, our luck, that rarity has been in our division. so essentially we've been entering each year chasing 2 wildcard slots, which typically do require a better record than winning several divisions. the playoff construct isn't terrible, but it can use some modification IMO. especially in terms of rewarding all division 'winners' with a home playoff game, and allowing .500 or sub .500 teams in based on bad divisional opponents (double reward)..
