Hey guys we're getting that peak journeyman season out of a tough savvy vet QB doing everything he is physically capable of to get over the top for the first time. Over the last 7 games, including the Raiders game that he barely played in, Fitz has thrown 13 TD's and 4 picks. He's lead the Jets to 34 TD's on offense vs 12 TO's lost. That ratio is by far the best since Chad's 2002 breakout season.

We're getting everything we asked for when the Jets acquired Fitzpatrick. Now we just need to put together some of the other pieces (pass defense) and hope one of our main competitors loses a couple of games down the stretch or we win out and one of them loses a game.

And 16 first downs with his feet.

    That is huge.

Fitzpatrick is playing football as good as anyone we could ask for. He's playing at an extremely high level and is winning us games.

We need to make a deep playoff run with this team. It's about that time again

Do these guys really exist? Granted, I don't get to log onto the site that often... But it's hard to imagine anybody still defending Geno Smith to start at this point and not being a troll. Even when the Jets were at their worst at 5-5, I still couldn't even fathom bringing Geno in. Don't forget, he is partially responsible for one of those loses.

He may eventually get there, but Fitz is better with one hand, than Geno is with two and he's a much better runner. This is despite Geno having a stronger arm and quicker speed.

Fitz just needs to slide more, because he is one big hit away from Geno making his return, and that scares me.

They live underground like a certain LOTR character and only come out when their "precious" is in view.

YPA (yardage per attempt isn't even close) and that was with a depleted WR corp.

    14 YPA.

thats outstanding. and it was Geno.

    I cant compare a meaningless Week 17 game to a NYJ/NYG game.
