Hopefully Pryor plays - Titans can stop the run really well. Keep Mariota in the pocket, force him to make erratic throws and the Jets should come away with a victory. Titans haven't been impressive all year.
The other playoff contending teams have games that could be interesting. The Colts are at the Jags and the Chargers are at the Chiefs. Both are early games. They are division games which can be good for an upset now and again. Meanwhile, in a later game, the Patriots go to Houston to face their former offensive coordinator O'Brien.
I like how we played against the mobile qbs we played this year. we don't over pursue so they don't really get many running lanes.. plus we sending blitzes. Remember how Sheldon was containing on tyrod and slaughtering him if he tried running his way? I expect to see that. Rookie QB looking for running lanes and not down field for WRs
Time for some payback. They destroyed our season last year in a must lose game. Can't let them destroy our season back to back years absolutely no reason to lose next week.
*ICK*… Lets just kick their ass this time, lest we feel the need to actively root against our own team for draft position's sake again.
Anybody got a read on their D btw? I'm not sure what to make of them, they seem to be average in damn near every statistical category...
I kinda hope the Bills are still in the playoff hunt when we play them, Rex is always up for a meaningless game.
Titans defense is actually very solid, even though they were gashed by the Jaguars today. It's not an elite unit, but it's not going to be like the Dolphins game where the Jets can score at will - they probably won't top the 24 points..the Jets still don't have an elite offense, let's face it. However, I think the Jets should be able to hold the Titans to under 17 points if they bring their A game - the only player in this game that scares me is Delanie Walker - they need to double cover this guy the entire game. We can stop the run with 6 or 7 in the box. Play back, fill the passing lanes. Confuse him with some exotic blitzes. Mariota will make a mistake.
Titans are building with a young QB but they are a long way away. We should really get this done without too much trouble at home. Jets win 26-13
I've been through games like this before, I'm interested to see what Jets team shows up for this game.
Not really a trap game with CBoys coming up. But this is a relatively weaker team on the remaining sched. So a MUST win The Vagiant win should give us momentum and confidence plus we are at home NOW with our own Jets crowd not the arrogant NYG fans Gailey continues to underwhelm me with playalls but he does just enuf to get us a win I think the team gets off to a faster start....lets see if Mo Wilk sets his alarm for meetings lol
why does it matter if they're predictable when the giants d couldn't stop them. hell - run them all day long
on the tenn off, there isn't anyone that scares anybody...kendall wright is their best off player who's a bit above average. Take him away, pressure marcus and we should win the game.
A game we should win. Hopefully Revis is back to cover DGB. Their D gives up a lot of points, I see a 34-10 victory on our favor.
any fan who roots against their team, under any circumstance, is a HUGE LOSER who deserves to be stripped of their fandom.
to be fair, we're a different O and they're likely a different D. But yes that bodes well, a does the likely return of DR and Williams at CB.
Do you still not understand this? Did you watch Marcus Mariota play yesterday, or at all this year? That could be ours for the next 15 years. The only reason it's not is because we won a meaningless game while we were 2-11 against another 2-11 team. The difference between a 4-12 and 2-14 season is nothing morale wise, but unbelievably impactful draft wise.
