    Also, fuck Goodell's arbitrary justice system for suspending Enunwa earlier. What a valuable piece he's been

    Isn't it good to have a QB to realize the mismatch he has? and just know how to get him the ball? Back shoulder throws, slants, fade routes...him Marshall and Decker are on the same page, it's great

    Fitz is one of the most likable Jets we've had in a long time. I'm so happy he's our QB for the time being.

    Obviously we aren't winning a SB with him, but he's been such a leader on and off the field, he's been playing splendidly for the most part. Hell of a stopgap QB.

    Geno DID get 358 in that stupid meaningless game against the Dolphins at the end of last season when Decker went nuts with 200+...but yeah I can't remember a 390+ game

    I mean 390 or above. I cant remember a Jets QB throwing for that much in my lifetime.

    Im sure Vinny did without looking it up but I cant remember.

    Fitz's only problems are his weak arm and unwillingness to slide. He's a great decision maker and doesn't throw many boneheaded passes like Geno or Sanchez. He's worth keeping around next year as a starter while Petty continues to develop and the team continues to grow.

    I didn't even think Fitz got up to 390 when I posted lol...but you're probably right I looked through Vinny and Chad's game logs (and Favre's season as a Jet) and the last 400+ game I can find was Vinny in the ill-fated season finale at Baltimore in 2000.

    Fitz just did something he hasn't done all season and was my number one complaint about him, lead a game winning drive in the 4th quarter, only took him about 4 tries, but couldn't have come at a better time.

    If my xmas wish comes true, this should be the game that cements a 3 yr contract extension for Fitz, Petty being named the backup and Geno being released. Come on sweet little 8.9 lb baby jesus make this come true.

    Fitz won this game for us with his courage, his field awareness, his running, his accurate passing and his brain. The weak arm BS criticism is getting freaking old.
    He did not get a lot of protection today and still delivered. He is a leader first and foremost.
    Letter to Fitz
    Dear Fitz, Awesome effort. Please feel free to waive off and audibilize some of Gaileys first down right at the gut running plays anytime. You are the man. And please, keep your beard trimmed. Sincerily, the Jets fans ( some of us anyhow)

    Getting to the SB would be harder than winning it. Nothing great in the NFC, we could win.
