The only thing that gives me some comfort is that apparently KC just lost 3 of their starting O-lineman--I think one guy just went down in practice.

    http://www.arrowheadpride.com/2015/...ve-nearly-a-third-of-the-roster-on-the-injury

Kansas City Chiefs have nearly a third of the roster on the injury report

Well, I was off a bit on the OLine:

The offensive line will see some tweaking this week because G Jeff Allenand C Mitch Morse are not practicing after GBen Grubbs was placed on IR. The good o-line news is that LT Eric Fisher returned to practiceafter suffering in injury in last week's game.

KC is hot and their schedule is easy as hell down the stretch but they have went 5 straight games without a turnover- that is abnormal, almost flukey and something that all the advanced metrics will say will not continue.

so you have to think they'll have at least 1 game where they'll have to overcome turnovers and I don't think they are good enough to run the table in the rest of them. I can see 9-7 possible for them

As I see it there are 3 sure fire division winners already, NE, Denver and Cincinnati, so when they play any AFC contender except for the Jets I want them to continue winning. Between Denver and Cincinnati they could eliminate Oakland. On week 17 it all becomes meaningless because all 3 teams will probably rest the starters.
KC has the more winnable schedule, injuries or not they could run the table. Oakland and may be Baltimore could upset them once. Definitely want Oakland to beat them Sunday.
The Steelers biggest challenge is against Cincinnati on week 14. I also Hope like hell Colts beat them Sunday.
After that I want the Texans to win the division, and the Colts and or KC to be the second wild card.

Having said all that, we are in deep shit if we loose more than one game going forward. Two would be a major reach to make the playoffs.

Not easy as hell. 2 with Oakland. Ravens and Chargers won't be pushovers either. Browns are the only true cupcake on the sched.

on a side note, several talking heads (when NE was undefeated) said the only tough game left on NE's schedule is against the Jets. Semi respect.

The more concussions you get, the shorter your career is. The less games you play the less likely you are to get another concussion.

I don't know. It's all speculative at this point, but it reminds me of how Shaq used to embellish injuries to sit out games early in the regular season. It's not ridiculous to think that while a lot of players will come back at 95% this guy won't touch the field until he is at 110% not to mention letting the bumps and bruises of the season heal with the concussion as an easy excuse to sit out an extra week or two.

Well when you think about it, we did play them close, it's at home and they really haven't been steamrolling many teams so it's probably warranted respect.

Fans here defend Revis and that is cool. I like him too. I was just pointing out some players can come back after a couple days after a concussion, some take 3 weeks. Revis will be the 3 weeks type of player. Now we see today he still isn't even attending meetings or practices 11 days after. Looks like I am right. I don't get the big deal about my post. Honesty upsets some fans I guess.

Haha guys, okay, I get it. My post came off as insensitive to Revis' current and future brain functions, but all I was trying to say is that he cares about himself and his well-being before the team. Nothing wrong with that I guess, when it comes to concussions. Some players have to have their helmets pulled from their hands. Some refuse to be even checked. Some rush back too fast. Just was saying Revis won't be that guy. Maybe in this situation that is actually a good thing.

Mevi$ is getting his new helmet from Iron Man Tony Stark

Seriously, go buy your own helmet. He has the money. The NFL wont bother you if you put in extra padding

BTW how did Revis get hurt?...er I hope he tackled someone

I think he got a knee to the head breaking up a play. I personally think he could play but is being very cautious.

Yeah, and just like for everyone else divisional games are going to be tough for them, tougher than the comparison of records alone would otherwise indicate.

I think we lose this one based on our season performance so far. Teams we beat this year: Browns, Colts, Dolphins twice, Redskins, Jaguars, i.e. absolute bottom of the barrel. When we faced teams that aren't very good but at least didn't play like absolute crap (Texans, Bills, Raiders, Eagles), we lost. Giants aren't very good this year, but they are not playing like absolute crap either, so if we stay true to form, should be a loss.

Having both Revis and Williams out won't help either. That means rusty Milliner, McDougle and co will be covering extra receivers.
