And if Lesean Mccoy had run for 30 yards, like he had been doing for a good chunk of the game, and iced the game(not giving the Jets the chance to kick a FG to win it), you would be saying that the Jets should have gone for it on 4th. He was bashed for playing conserative last week and now he plays aggresive and you guys are killing him for it, because of one miscue by Kellen Davis? Bowles definitely has his flaws, but he wasn't the problem yesterdsy. That's nonsense.

Kellen Davis looks for the ball and catches it we have threads today praising Bowles for his aggresiveness and bashing Rex for his game management.

Relax. It was his first real bad game as a coach. He's going to make mistakes for sure, but give him time. This team is in good shape overall due to his leadership. Not for nothing, but the coach on the other side of the field had a much worse game in my opinion. Two blown challenges and wasted timeouts in the 2H

Falco, he does deserve some blame, but lets be honest, the Jets are making mistakes on all facets of the game, that is a sign of a bad to mediocre football team.

The HC cannot double down on the mistakes committed by the team, when the ball is in his corner, he needs to right the ship with his decisions.

I like TB, I also like his demeanor on the sideline when everything is going crazy, but his game management at this point leaves a lot to be desired.

I believe he will get better but chasing points when it's not necessary is a sign of a rookie or bad HC. I'm going to attribute this to him being a rookie.

Seems like that unless we win the turnover battle we have no shot, and that is to be expected. we we're 4 and 12 last season, people thinking championship need to take a step back and realize we're a 500 team. sure if we get a few lucky bounces we might win 9 heck maybe 10 but we're a 500 team on a good day. take it for what it is.

We have no tight ends to speak of, our LB are slow, sure our DB'S and DL are solid but there is always room for improvement. let's not forget we have an avg game manager at QB who has done a good job, but expecting 10 11 wins was a bit naive. not to mention our hot defensive start gave us false hope.

Pryor seems like a huge difference maker now that he has missed time...and with him in the lineup Skrine improves as he's been shitty lately...who knows maybe his injury is still bothering him...good news is Pryor and Enunwa wil be back in 10 days and we can get back on track !

Edit: our ST needs a huge overhaul Idk where to start lol

You are talking about the pass attempt to Davis? Imo that was probably on Gailey.

Ftr I have no problem giong for it on fourth. But I do have an issue, when the Jets scored to make it 22-9, why go for the extra point instead of the 2 point conversion? Make the conversion and it's 22-11, meaning an FG and another Td with a 2 pointer ties it up. Meanwhile being down 12 or 13 makes no real difference imo.

I was also wondering why we didn't go for two. Weird considering then how aggressive we played going for it on 4th downs

Yeah, that I think was a rookie HC mistake. He probably didn't even think of going for 2.

That changed momentum significantly. You have to take that into consideration. It made no sense at all

Honestly I give Bowles the benefit of the doubt on that one thinking it was still too early to 'chase points' with twenty minutes left. I'm not a big proponent of going for two before the fourth quarter unless it's patently obvious - like down eight.

Actually, it looked to me that Davis wasn't even the target on that play. Decker and Davis looked confused when they met past the LOS. I think it was Decker who screwed up. Davis obviously wasn't expecting the ball. It doesn't make sense they would run a critical play to a guy who has seen fewer balls thrown his way this season than he has fingers on one hand. Maybe even fewer than Jean Pierre Paul has on one hand.

    so true..

HC's get way too much credit for wins, and way too much blame for losses.

Check Woody's HC hires & U will find that NONE of that have any where near Belly brain power so that is why he have had such bad HCs under Woody watch
Good guy & decent get U NOWHERE in the NFL. Cmon now U should know that which is probably why will be another big flop. As for Gailey U should have checked his resume & U will find he was a flop everywhere he has been
