I will give you this the 9ers don't look good. There is a lot wrong with them. But there shouldn't be much faith in Kaepernick
It's just to hard to say at this point. The 49'ers have fallen so hard so fast that it's nearly unprecedented! I'm sorry, 2 1/2 years is NOT a fluke. Also, dare I say we have an even BETTER receiving corps than at any point in time Kaepernick went to those playoffs/SB. The Raiders game not withstanding we also have as dominant a defense and an almost equal running game...so, again, tell me...what isn't to like about the prospect of a Colin K. on the cheap?
It only took 1 season for defenses to see how Kaepernick as making plays. Take away the initial read and don't let him beat you w/ his legs. The guy is absolutely awful going through his progressions. Torrey Smith, Boldin and Vernon Davis isn't a bad trio of weapons. If we signed Kaepernick, it would remind me of the Neil O'Donnell acquisition.
You think giving up Sheldon is on the cheap? He's the most valuable player on our team after Revis. No way.
nonononononononononononononononnononononononooooooooooooooooo GeNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Bruh... trade a top 3 DE and the only thing we have right now to call a slot WR to add another Mediocre QB? nah. That's like trading $100 for $1.
I find it funny. Kaepernick has been below average this season, they think he's better because they don't watch him close enough.
Anyone think Detroit is going to keep Stafford through another coaching change and rebuild? If not, I'd be interested to see what it would take to get him. I don't think a more talented quarterback will be available.
If Geno had a game anything like what Kaep did against the Cards earlier this season (opened with pick-6es on his first two passes, finished with 4 INTs), the Geno haters would hang onto it until the day they died.
