Sometimes a team needs a spark to get in the game. Geno didn't come into the game down by 30. He played the whole game and did little until late in the 3rd.
You can't just look at the 2 td's, you have to look at his performance overall. He didn't do well overall.

Who is it that said this is team geno vs. Team fitz? Who said this is either/or?
This is a jets board..no? Were discussing a position...the most important position. .like we do every other.
We discuss marcus williams possibly a better option at cb. We dont hate either player. There are no crobots. Just talking abour our team.
Fitz is a gutsy, heady veteren. He a journeyman, less talented...but has shown poise and leadership
Geno is younger, more talented...but has shown to be more prone to error.....etc. we have no perfect option....no manning.....so we discuss.

But this genobot vs. fitzcepticons thing is ridiculous to me. I dont get it. Lol

We sucked today. We have issues right now. Discuss.
In the end..... go jets. Thats it.

It's hard to be too harsh on Geno...... He was trying to make something good happen..... That's why he was scrambling around and taking sacks..... Most of the stuff that wasn't good happened when the game was all but over

Just going to throw this out there: if you're Geno watching Fitzpatrick lead the Jets this year out to 4-2 you definitely don't go out of bounds on that sideline run if there's one more inch to be gained. I like Fitzpatrick but he's setting a bad example for the young guys by not sliding and taking care of himself.

Yeah, as much as I have liked the Jets with Fitz as QB, today showed me he cant be trusted either. He is too much of a river boat gambler.

You're not wrong but these guys are pros and need to look at themselves first....With the way they were sleepwalking from the start it would have taken quite a spark to get these guys back in the game......the team as a whole didn't show up and I'm not going to fault a backup QB for not changing that

The offense was also way too conservative when Geno first came in...He didn't play very well but just stating that fact

The jets put him in a near impossible situation coming in cold off the bench with no running game injured WRs and a Swiss cheese defense

Just image when Devin Smith comes back and now we have a QB who can throw deep to him. It will open up this offense.

Yeah he really threw a deep ball today to Marshall with that INT. Like 5 yards behind him... Your deluding yourself that he can throw long. He cant. He sucks. You will be changing your avatar name soon.

Im the first to say stats arent everything.......but how can you say he was as bad as is being stated here.....when BM had 100 yards in the second half. He completed 64%, 9 for 9 at one point. Some nice throws....showed a new dimension....(hello devin smith)
We lost. He wasnt great....obviously...but how could he have been THAT bad? Lol
You would think the line looked more like 11 for 35 90 yards wit a few picks. How is 27 for 42 THAT bad? Lol
If thats fitz.....were going to the SB. Smh

And i reiterate....its not all about.stats but come on........He didnt SUCK
Espn will NOT say he sucked. lol

How is it we can lose two QB's in one game but Tom Brady can't twist a fucking ankle?

I don't disagree, but... Geno had something to prove to the world. He could have stepped up and led the team. They score, you score...
I don't blame Geno for the loss, the defense failed big, but Geno still had weapons to work with. He's a decent backup QB, I don't think he will make the next level.

Shonn....He made a few bonehead decisions late in the game that some Jet fans will only look at but he did make some good plays and throws

When you take everything into consideration he was mediocre.....When you combine that with the rest of the teams' play you will get hammered by a pretty good Raiders team

We needed an amazing performance by our QB to have a prayer in this game and expecting Geno or Fitz to do that is not realistic when you have no blocking, running, defense, or coaching

Thank you. I did miss much. But what i did see was a better qb than fitzpatrick...in general. Or should i say more upside... .and a general reason fir SOME optimism. Am I wrong to say that?

I wouldn't say better overall, but it's possible he plays better with a full week of practice as the starter....But I'm not really concerned with the switch as I don't think too much of either player

Basically he was "OK" had his moments both good and bad

It comes down to our defense and running game which failed us today to put it mildly
