what i'd love to see: our current uniforms, replacing the drab olive and pickle greens with kelly green. include the kelly green on the helmet decals, make the facemasks grey. white pants only. it would essentially be like the 60's uniforms what Nike will likely do: completely saturate the uniforms with an eye offending amount of green, including pants, socks, and kleets. they likely will not match the helmet decals with the same shade of green on the uniform, including the facemasks, leaving us still with the multiple greens. they use this opportunity to take other futuristic liberties with the uniform, such as alarm clock numbering and bad lettering fonts (see Florida teams) can't wait till the NFL moves on from Nike..
Yes they had it right in '98. The bright kelly green always looked a little tacky to me. Or maybe it was just all the losing. But the current ones are a mess too. six different shades of green. Why can't Nike get it right?
totally agree Matt. give me current uniforms, with only 1 color of green, whether that's hunter or kelly. also, lose the green pants...
I'm 50/50 on the Kelly green against the Bills. Excited to see what the unis look like. Somewhat worried that with the Bills in an equally saturated red, it will look like the north pole on Christmas...
i don't think the uniforms changed much from 1998-2012, which is when Nike unfortunately got the league contract. that's when the greens got weird, and odd stomach patches and vneck things started happening.
That first one is craptastic. Second one isn't bad although I never want to change our current logo. _
