Great news for us. Brady could realistically throw the ball 50+ times today. Our DBs better be able to tackle today because they are gonna do that extended handoff quick WR screen at will.

EDIT - I am also going to be furious if Edelman goes in motion and burns us on that endaround. They run it every single time vs us. He goes in jet motion and gets the handoff from Brady.

i dont think this is a huge deal. he was their most elusive back but they likely go with empty back field often anyhow. and blount ran the ball hard last week. white can do plenty of damage as a pass catcher out of the backfield. i dont think this changes anything. if we cant force their backs to be pass blockers because of pressure we are in big trouble anyhow

I think it is a huge deal. I doubt, and have doubted that Blount will be able to run on us. I have been afraid of the screen pass game with Lewis though. Him being out just makes their offense quite a bit more 1 dimensional.

On a separate note, fuck this for 3 of my fantasy teams haha.

i dont think it limits them or changes anything they do. those plays that would have went to lewis will now go to white. lewis is a bit more dynamic, but really not much changes

I have Dion Lewis on my fantasy team and I will say he has got Barry Sanders like moves on him. Yes, White can catch the ball, but he won't make anyone miss like Lewis can. Huge break for us. Blount is exactly the type of runner we can stop, esepecially against that poor O-line.

The guy averages 10 yards a catch out of the runningback spot. I'd say it's a pretty big deal considering we don't have the linebackers to cover anyone.

This is great news. Go Jets.
