Just a bad play by the catcher.
You need to be in front of the plate -- the ball beat Lagares by a mile.

Just like you never hear "Let's Go Jets" at a Jet game.

    Doesn't sound right.

These games are some battles, holy shit...we're a tough scrappy bunch.

Everybody chips in whatever they can...from one game to the next. Great win

Arrieta[rhp] tomorrow night in the cold again

Cub fans were talking 9 miles of shit before the series started........ Now they are saying, "The Cards won the first game too". That fan base does a lot of chirping for a team that hasn't done squat since before the titanic sunk.......

I feel like the Mets pitching rotation is as explosive as the 2001 Athletics with Mulder, Hudson, Zito (deGrom, Harvey, Syndergaard) + Matz

There is so much potential in that rotation...If all guys get blitzing hot, it doesn't matter if the Cubs are the Murderer's Row Yanks...This is coming from a die-hard Yankees fan

I said it earlier! For the Mets to win they have to do the unconventional...Which is steal bases and get in scoring position.

Ya its for sure the little things but I'd like to see contact from the hitters...Just Singles doubles ... Not always hinging on Homeruns
