Find me the meaningful statistics where Geno was definitively better than Fitz last year and then tell me how those statistics, when assessed within the context of their respective overall performances, result in your conclusion that Geno was better than Fitz last year. Your argument seems to be a confused confluence of "yeah, but Fitz sucked too!!!!" and "yeah, but Fitz had a better team around him." The problem here is, while arguably true, neither one of those two points have any bearing on whether or not Fitz outperformed Geno last year.

Look, what people have essentially written in this thread is that Fitz was/is/and always has been better than Geno by virtually every objective statistical metric used to evaluate quarterbacks (last year included). You don't really have anything to refute that basic truth. If you are going to argue for wanting to start Geno over Fitzpatrick, you would be much better off pointing out that: 1) Geno was supposedly having a very good camp and was considered the unquestioned starter 2) Geno (arguably) has much more physical talent than Fitz 3) Geno (arguably) has a much higher ceiling than Fitz. Point 1 is a fact, most people would probably agree with point 2, and point 3 is highly debatable (but, at least, there is a case to be made). To sum it up for you, although I don't necessarily agree with it, you certainly CAN argue that Geno has a brighter future going forward than Fitz does. However, you most certainly CAN NOT argue that Geno HAS BEEN better than Fitz (the objective standards by which football fans, analysts, teams, and scouts assess quarterbacks reveal the absurdity of that statement)
