We went into the home of a preseason SB contender and won. Did you see what the greatest young QB Andrew Luck did today? At home? And you're complaining? Really? Geezuz. _
With this defense, you just need your QB to make smart reads and he did so for most of the game...great stuff!

I've said from the beginning if we can get completely average play and eke out 9 wins I'd be ecstatic. Maybe some people were expecting top 10 and 12 wins?
We can win with him playing like this. When the pass protection is good, Fitz is more than competent. I still think he takes too many reckless chances but he seems to have good rapport with Decker and Marshall. He will continue to be the starter if the season keeps going this direction.

If he had a little bit more of an arm, the ball drops into Marshall's bucket, and that's a TD. It was indeed a very good decision - just he didn't have the talent to play up to what he saw. But still, it's not a bad decision. No.
no it was an awfuly decision. Double coverage on the sideline? That was bad the first defender probably should have picked it. I think the point is, we shouldnt settle for average or bad.
Fitz was good. He had a few dropped balls, the INT was a deflection, he is starting to mesh with Marshall and Decker (hope he is OK) and has the chance to get better. He has made good reads and throws a nice ball. Unexpectedly, the running game wasn't working, so they needed to rely on Fitz. He came through (easily) when the Jets needed 7 points. Rejoice Jets fans!
As much as I liked the average play from Fitz tonight against a complete shit defense, we are going to get fucking murdered by good teams. Watching him throw those ducks downfield was painful. I can deal with this for a season, but all of our eggs are in the basket of Bryce Petty next year. Kind of scary.
anyone complaining is a complete moron. fitz isnt great, but he doesnt throw up all over himself like geno/sanchez. our offense sputtered and leaned on the defense most of the game, but after the colts cut it to 3 fitz led a long drive capped with a TD pass to tear their hearts out and kill momentum. the 3rd and 7 pass for the first down to kill the clock was big also. if geno plays he probably throws 2 picks, fumbles and we lose like 16-3
