Without question. This team is stacked across the board. Tonight made me a believer that this will be a playoff team. I would argue that we are better than 2010 because the DL is much more talented and veteran Fitz is a slight improvement on 2nd year Sanchez. This is a team that can win 11 games and compete for the division. It's time to start believing in Bowles and crew!
I can't argue at all. I am having those feelings of hope and confidence creep back into my soul. I forgot how great it is to be a fan of a team you are excited about. Defense is amazing. Great offensive weapons. As long as Fitz continues to play well, I can see us having a great year.
The personnel is better than the 2010 team. We might not get to the AFC title game but position by position we are more talented. The only thing that concerns me is that this game should've been about 35-7. Maybe all that says is that were 2-0 and could get better.
This defense has a chance to be one of our best. When Richardson come back, we are going to be friggin unstoppable.
Awesome game. Aside from a few stupid throws Fitz showed he can manage this team. Take away the dumb throws and he will win (not lose us games). Running game was non existent that needs to be fixed this week. Defense is elite, forget Rex and his sorry defense. There is no reason that Philly should have any more success than what Indy had tonight next week.
Let's be a little realistic here. The Jets have gotten VERY lucky on the defensive end the last two games. 5 turnovers per game is not sustainable especially considering how many were fumbles. The McCown fumble in Week 1 and the Gore fumble tonight were complete gifts that wiped out touchdowns each time. Don't get me wrong the defense looks excellent but best TEAM since 2010 is a stretch. The Oline is nothing like to 2009 and 2010 teams. The offense needs to show a little more. I was very disheartened with how conservative the playcalling got both at the end of the first half and early in the fourth quarter with a 10 point lead. Running game never really got going although Ivory did have a huge run in that clinching drive. Hopefully the CS will put more trust in Fitz and Devin Smith can add the vertical threat that the offense badly needs.
Fitz can't throw the long ball and that will become a problem in the coming weeks, defenses will adapt. It's blaringly obvious...
Talent is there for sure But yes 2 fumbles so far were gifts But I do think great teams get lucky breaks- don't know why but they do
Ok lets chill out...Lets stay healthy and talk at least by the time its Thanksgiving about "Best team since..."
That's a tough call and way to early to make....the 2010 team was one of the best....I'm not ready to say that yet
There is always an area to improve. This was not a masterpiece, the offense can be better. But there was a lot to like and as you said, the personnel is better than 2010. I don't know if we have EVER had a player like Marshall. Keyshawn was very good but he could not make some of the plays that Marshall can
