I've been on Reddit lately so I'm used to seeing people who say IK did the Jets a favor by breaking Geno's jaw. Personally I find these comments disgusting. The unpayed debt does not justify sucker punching your QB. Now I come on here and there's a whole thread ripping Geno for "being mad" about it. There is ONE source saying Geno put his finger in the face of IK. A source that happens to be friends with IK and who was not in the locker room when it happened. We wouldn't trust that source with any other information whatsoever, but you choose to believe him? Geno ain't always a very good QB, but he's our QB and I'm just very confused about the hate towards him over here. Have I been reading a few hateful posts or is this the general consensus?
He's not my QB... Besides getting drafted in the 2nd round what has he ever done to earn that position? Nothing. As far as I'm concerned Ryan Fitzpatrick is the QB until Geno earns it.
Geno lost the starting job over 600 bucks. Right now, he's not our QB. BTW we have other topics on this particular discussion.
What happens when you don't pay your rent? They kick you out, what about car payment, they repo, what about electric bill, they shut you off It's a cruel world, pay your debts
I mean, I don't think I would've gotten a collective answer on the general opinion of this forum in quite the same way if I would've just posted this in some thread. Sorry if it's not how you usually do things around here (sincere).
If everyone wanted to get personalized answers to every question that popped into their heads, this place would be a mess. There are at least 3 threads discussing this incident and the general climate regarding Geno. That's where I would have posted those questions. And he wasn't "sucker-punched", that's already been determined. _

Jets fans hates most of our QB'S in general. It comes from a lifetime of high expectations and diminishing returns.... (not talking to you Fitz.)
Apparently you haven't been a Jets fan long, however if you remember Chad Pennington when he got injured at a game at the Meadowlands Jets fans were cheering, so you won't find any support group here for Geno
