I don't think I've ever seen him play as bad as tonight, even when he was a rookie. What a lucky win. He didn't deserve it at all.
Yeah he doesnt have the same zip on his throws anymore. He's also lucky that Thomas and Sanders are as good as they are because they made some catches that most WR's wouldnt.
had to be a lot more than a game manager tonite... just sayin on a side note, Kubiak needs to curtail the offense to Peyton's strengths. as soon as they went shotgun, the O started clicking. pre snap recognition is still his biggest strength. let him scan the field, find the mismatch, and start getting the ball out quicker. need to limit the hits he's taking, and let those WR's run after catch, a la the Patriots. if they keep forcing him under center, with slow developing play action and deep drops, he won't last the season. not the QB and not the Oline for that approach.
Depsite his size, Osweiler is an average armed QB who can't throw with accuracy beyond fifteen yards. Thst was the story with him at ASU and it hasn't changed during the pre season. Kyle Orton was a below average QB for much of his career, which is why he was benched in Denver after that team started 1-4. Osweiler remind me of Orton.
Can't watch the Bills-Pats game at 1:00. Disappointing. Might head out and watch somewhere. Should be a good one.
Same here. Redzone for me. F'ing Giants are blocking the 1 PM slot for CBS hence no Pats-Bills game. Sometime I hate that we share this city with another team.
