"We are grateful to Judge Berman for hearing this matter, but respectfully disagree with today's decision," Goodell said. "We will appeal today's ruling in order to uphold the collectively bargained responsibility to protect the integrity of the game. The commissioner's responsibility to secure the competitive fairness of our game is a paramount principle, and the league and our 32 clubs will continue to pursue a path to that end. While the legal phase of this process continues, we look forward to focusing on football and the opening of the regular season."

he would've been vilified on the road no matter what. this ruling makes no difference in that regard.

(except in miami of course. hard for empty seats to vilify people)

the ruling had nothing to do with the evidence of the case.
i recapped the ruling in an above post for your simple mind to digest.

He was going to play against the Jets anyway. Also, the odds of the Jets challenging the Pats for the division this year is slim to none, so it's not like it would have a huge impact on the Jets.

This, in essence, is why I usually detest lawyers and unions. Truth, justice, and what's right get trampled and tossed to the side. They're both necessary evils, but they are still evils.

You are a stupid loser. Maybe now that Giselle is dumping him, Tom will actually let you be his bitch.

It doesn't mean anything for the Jets. We would've still had to play him anyway. Just gotta focus on ourselves.

Regarding the situation, the ball never lies. If he really cheated with this, then the football gods are going to bring justice. Not wishing a bad injury or anything, but karma will come around. Maybe he'll suck and regress all year. Maybe his team will suck. Maybe he'll get caught being involved in a prostitution ring, who knows?

We don't know how much of Brady's marital difficulties stem from him destroying his cellphone. Odds are pretty good that was a minor issue in an already toxic situation. Marriages aren't built to last these days. Particularly celebrity marriages.

Please. You think some lonely ass locker room aid did that because he had the urge? There might not be any evidence, which often happens when one destroys it, but he is as guilty as sin. Besides, Brady is a Patriot, and Bill is his mentor. Isn't that evidence enough?
