There were like 5 threads that said the same thing after his 2013 campaign. Then he went with Bowels last year and was voted to the probowl. Either the probowl is a popularity contest having little to do with actual talent (NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!) or Cro really IS great and just saving it for when the curtain goes up in a few weeks.
Mo OUT vs Falcons Petty to be #2 Carp banged up (ankle), nothing big Bowen & Leonard in starting lineup Heaps might or might not play this week, depending on how it goes with Petty Flynn has ankle issue, probably 1 week away from playing
He got burned plenty last year but did make some big plays in an aggressive offense. His performance was not pro bowl worthy last year. He's been absolutely torched in camp so far. Saving the best for regular season? I sure hope so. But my money says he's going to be terrible.
This Making me eat my Words of " worst contract" but Laying h the money he's Making this year is silly.
I agree. Feel like we're seeing Cro from 2013 getting burned deep 5 times a game. If Bowles pulls the trigger, who's your guess at his replacement? Williams? McDougle? Walls? Milliner? I'd probably go with Williams after the bye
I was appalled at how bad he looked in the first preseason game. I can only hope he's one of those guys who thinks practice doesn't matter and only turns up for real games - it's a crazy way to approach your profession, but it would give us something to hope for. As things stand, if I was an offensive coordinator I would target Cro on just about every play. Completion, flag or touchdown every time, while Revis gathers cobwebs on the opposite side of the field...
