    Since Flynn is a "vested veteran" his salary will become guaranteed if he's on the roster week 1. My guess is he is cut before week 1 and brought back after week 1.

    I think they signed him to protect Petty. We aren't winning Superbowl this year so why throw Petty to lions if Fitzpatrick and Geno gets hurt.

    Petty should not see the field even once this season. There needs to be two QBs ahead of him not the depth chart at all times. Let's get real, if we lose both Fitz and Geno, we aren't winning anything and the worst thing we could do is toss Petty in. This prevents that, so I'm fine with it b

    Certain season ticket holders would disagree with you. They WANT to see Petty play this year. :rolleyes:

    Not a terrible choice considering Geno will come back from IR to back up Fitz by game 2 or 3.
