    There are several reports of the reactions to the news involving Geno being punched by IK. I am curious to see what the reactions were of our TGG Jet fans.

    I little of both really.

    While I am happy to move on from the Geno Smith era I did have my fingers crossed that he would finally contribute.

    On the other hand the jokes just seem to write themselves.

    Saw the news in a link at work and kept trying to get the page to open, but the filter would let it. I was going nuts and smiling like a stoned monkey. I was like a kid waking up on Christmas morning.

    I wanted to see how he could do and if reports that he's improved were true. If he could kill most of the turnovers, make good decisions and lead the team. Plus I have nothing personal against him. And don't want to see any player on the Jets get hurt.

    It is disgraceful that it occurred. That did not make me happy. Geno being off the field is nice, but not like this.

    Then excitement that the Jets upgraded the position/we're going to have a veteran at QB in 2015.

    Honestly I was disgusted .....We finally looked like we had some stability in the franchise .I thought the days of being a joke in the headlines were over ....I honestly feel bad for Todd Bowles he is gonna ruin his coaching carrer here.Between Richardson ,Genos stupid Jaw and all the injurys this last month , it has been a epic disaster no one could have seen coming

    I'd say disbelief and a little bit of laughter at how geno would get sucker punched and break his jaw.

    Not sure how anyone could be happy someone broke their jaw? If Fitz had beat out Geno then sure it's a worthy question but he hasn't played very good and was given the job which many Geno haters had previously said they didn't want it given to anyone. I blame this all on the Mariota bowl. We should've just taken care of business and did what we needed to do.

    I hate the whole thing. Geno didn't deserve it. If he had only understood that acting like a wuss was uncalled for. None of this would have happened. I root for every player in the green and white but Geno has worn out his welcome.
