what kind of idiot puts their finger in this guy's face?

Yeah, not a chance in hell I would do that - even if I was the invincible Brett Favre. I guess Geno isn't the leader we thought he was.

I didn't excuse what IK did, but if you think Smith was totally blameless for what happened, I have to ask on what basis do you think so other than that You are a Smith Fan?

My point was from the little we know, it didn't sound like Smith was being MATURE. As in NOT mature.

How many fights are there in the training camp/preseason alone, tempers flare, almost always passes without much comment, but we lose our qb for 1-2 months. There are days when I wonder if I'm in the fucking Twilight Zone. No matter the year, the players, the coaching staff, shit like this happens to us...

Welp. I was hoping for Fitz to start rather than pissing away winnable games "giving Geno a chance", now I got my wish. After he's healed, if Fitz is playing badly enough for Geno to get the job back, the seaon is a lost cause anyway.

IK just became my favorite Jet of all time. thank god i dont have to watch geno suck until at least week 7 of the season. this could be the fluke move that gets us to the playoffs.

Fitzpatrick is pretty much junk, but he at least wont implode to the point where he completely loses games for you. if we can run and our defense returns to form fitz can manage the game.

The Jets. Forever snake bitten. Every year it's the same crap. I absolutely hate that my first post on this site has to be this way, but come on. First Richardson's crap, then Milliner and Allen injuries and now this, something that is completely inexcusable. Might as well tank this season as well.

When I played college basketball, one of my teammates broke his jaw in two places, had surgery and doctors had to have his mouth wired shut for 10 days afterwards. It took him about 6 weeks to recover enough to get back on the court, but I do remember him losing a lot of weight (muscle, mass) as he had to drink his meals through a straw during recovery.

    lol i certainly would not.
never looked into his eyes, but somehow would expect to see a little crazy in them. perfect for OLB.
damn i'm upset he's gone........we need that heading after Br*dy. he'd crumble quicker than Geno.

Thank you. We should be able to separate moral assessments of IK's behavior with the apparent poor leadership Smith showed in getting into it with IK in the apparent manner Smith did.

So you're happy that the guy who wasn't performing as well as Geno, according to every beat writer who has watched practice, is starting? Jesus Christ.

Brady gets up in the grill of his teammates a lot. Hell he got up in the grill of his offensive coordinator once on national TV. if one of them popped his ass in the face would we be questioning Brady's maturity?
