Darrin Walls talking to defensive backs coach Joe Danna during defensive walk through. #Jets will try Walls at safety.
Cro needs to step it up. Beat twice by Owusu, back to back. First play of team: Geno hits Owusu, Cro strips it, Henderson recovers. Next play: Owusu bounces back with a long-gainer down the seam.
Interesting. Ijalana at LT. Dalton Freeman getting in at first team center, Winters at right guard. Ijalana at left tackle. Rotation baby.
i like it too... I'm sure it's not the way Walls wanted it, but the injuries to both Milliner and Allen really opened up a spot for him........especially if he can prove versatile.
Rontez Miles sighting, who's now working with second team. Comes flying in off the edge for would-be sack of Fitzpatrick
It would be hilarious if this happened to some other team. Actually, it's still kind of hilarious. It's like the guy tried so hard to make sure he doesn't pick any decent players.
Good day for QBs, Bryce Petty zipped one to Jonathon Rumph on a dig route. Darrin Walls worked next to Durell Eskridge at safety spots with the backups. Corners were Phillips, McDougle, C. Brown. As horn blows and #Jets move to new portion of team drills, Mauldin again comes in with the starters at OLB.
I like to hear that. Oh my Geno. Absolutely stunning pass deep down the left sideline to Hakim. Here's how nice: Defense on side was "wow"-ing
Meanwhile, Geno with a bomb for Hakim...drops it in over a beaten Cromartie. Believe it was Damon Harrison that did it, but Willie Colon ended up on the ground in backfield. Got run over. Mauldin VERY chippy out there. Took Breno to the ground and both players come up pushing and shoving
Geno Smith is looking sharp today. Geno short to Enunwa and Q keeps running. 82 has popped the last couple of days. Fitzpatrick evades edge rush, steps up and gets a wobbly one to Austin Hill on the sideline.
IK off the edge, bounced right off Ijalana the Ivory couldn't stop him and he had Fitzpatrick squared up ready to bury
Trevor Reilly into backfield for second straight day with pressure at Ryan Fitzpatrick's feet. Couple nice practices for Reilly. IK and Dex going to be nice role players this year, Dex may push Cro for PT sooner rather than later
is there a WR trying out for our team who hasn't torched Cro yet? yeesh, i'm encouraged to hear the deep passes, but every time it's at Cro's expense. if teams can't run on us, and avoid throwing to one half the field, what will they do? i'd guess immediately attack at Cro and Pryor. that's really my only concern with the D.
