You kind of had to figure that.

    Still, not good.

If he hears about those that's not going to help team esprit de corps and morale. They should have kept their mouths shut to the media.

There's good men leading the team, starting with Todd Bowles. It's no big deal, it's typical.

Besides who cares about Sheldon's feelings.

If he doesn't hear, and heed TB's message, and acknowledge his faults, he will fuck up again. Guaranteed

Your last sentence is definitely true. There are good men on the team. I'm glad that Bowles, Colon and Harrison spoke up in support of Richardson. It may be typical for some to speak negatively, but I disagree that it's no big deal. I think if Richardson has any hopes of getting straightened out, he has to have the support and encouragement of his teammates. I understand the players having whatever feelings they have, but they ought to have more sense than to share anything with the media that isn't positive and supportive of Richardson. The worst comment was by the teammate who said that he never liked Richardson anyway. Now I realize that not everyone is ever going to like the same person, and they don't have to, but with chemistry and a sense of brotherhood working together to accomplish a goal being so important on athletic teams, this kind of thing can and does cause problems in the locker room that can carry over onto the field.

Stop while I'm behind? Go fuck yourself and then dry up and blow away. I made a comment to the effect that this is bad news on a daily basis. I object to this constant pathetic behavior. I stick to that comment.

I didn't criticize the players who do good for the community (I don't disagree nor do I deny such positive contributions), so please don't use this as your counter attack. I simply was being a "bit tongue - in - cheek" by saying all these reports are the National Felon League. I didn't make it up, it has been said on the board in the past. More then 700 NFL players have been arrested since 2005, the majority of those arrests for domestic violence, guns, drug possession, and DUI.

I'm sure SR has good friends on the team also. But it's obvious that people wouldn't like him. Talking to TMZ is another story tho, you're right.
But imo SR get's no slack. When you act like a total reckless, arrogant, selfish, asshole, and follow it with it lip service, I wouldn't expect anything less.

I think a strength of TB will be to handle stuff on the inside, and in the lockerroom very well. A TMZ story is nothing imo.

I just read the Star Ledger interview with Leonard Williams. He's such a mature young man. It's very refreshing and reassuring after Richardson. I was pleased to see that Richardson has been helping coach up Williams both on the sidelines and teaching him how to watch film.

I wasn't saying that he should get any slack. I think the way to help Richardson is with tough love. Publicly have his back, but in private telling him that he'd better get his shit together, but in a supportive way. Make him have to earn their respect and trust. At the same time, they can't treat him like he has leprosy, either. He's gonna need positive influences to hang with, to help him learn to open up and the right way to view things and deal with things. He needs professional counseling too, and I hope both the Jets and NFL will insist that he gets it. I like Bowles' comment that he's more worried about Sheldon the man than football player. First and foremost, Sheldon has to clean up his act as a man. If he does that, he'll be just fine as a football player.

IMO, Sheldon may be depressed, and may be trying to self medicate himself with weed, not a good idea at all. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he winds up in a depression/drug clinic for a month.
