People losing property or getting hurt or killed is not the entire realm of crime. CRIME - definition: an action or omission that constitutes an offense that may be prosecuted by the state and is punishable by law. There's a reason he was arrested. He (listen carefully) BROKE THE LAW, NUMEROUS LAWS. Do you even realize that the reason that you don't drive recklessly, go 140 mph and drive with your lights off is because that is a very good way to kill/hurt someone???? How about if you go fire off a rifle in the air in your neighborhood and when the cops show up tell them that if no one was hurt or killed you are not a criminal? Richardson is a criminal and people making excuses for him, equating criminality with simple stupidity and/or not pressing charges when he committed previous offenses probably is a leading reason as to why he didn't think twice about racing and evading police. Well, he is now absolutely a criminal and also potentially losing millions of dollars and destroying a promising career. I'm sure there are numerous people around him now telling him that what he did is no big deal, not a real crime, because "hey man, you didn't kill anybody!". What SR needs more than anything is a person who will sit him down, look him in the eye and tell him that he's pi$$ing away his life. If he's lucky, he'll get another shot and he'll learn how to operate as an adult instead of a menace to society.
yeah but all it took was one very small slip-up and their could've easily been people hurt or killed, property damaged, etc. Thats why we have many laws in this country designed to protect us from actions that are dangerous- he broke many of them. you are kind of just arguing semantics anyway. whether or not he's a "criminal." I mean he was arrested. thats just a way to describe him. is he a "criminal?" does he need to be arrested multiple times or hurt someone before he's considered a "criminal," does he need felony charges? before we can call him that, idk. I think he's actually very lucky on many levels. Lucky to be alive of course and lucky he wasn't charged with more than he was. I'm surprised they didn't pursue the marijuana further to see if he was operating under the influence... Sounds like the child endangerment charge isn't going to be pursued, etc. so he's lucky from a legal standpoint. In NY state a DUI with a child present is a felony charge-- idk about Missouri's laws but based on what we are hearing that charge could've easily been justified if they pursued it and found that he was operating under the influence. very lucky
Dude get real. He's not some wimpy wet noodle being attacked by an Amazon dike. He's twice the size and three or four times the strength. He coulda just as easily grabbed her hand and held her down. I've been attacked by women before, even if they are strong for their size it's like being attacked by a child. Only cocksuckers beat their women.
Where did I say he couldn't and shouldn't have walked away? Try actually comprehending and addressing what I wrote. But if you excuse and defend women hitting men, you are creating the empowerment that they feel to do so and you are putting them in dangerous situations. You may think a woman should be able to feel free to hit a man, but you can't control whether the man hits them back. Criticizing the guy doesn't take the punch back. But clearly you don't care whether a woman gets the shit kicked out of her, you just like to feel superior by criticizing guys who would do so. In fact, you need a man to beat the shit out of a woman just so you can brand yourself as anti-hitting women. Your position is inherently hypocritical. If men didn't hit women you wouldn't have that issue to champion, and your interest is clearly about how you can criticize the action not prevent it from happening.
Your reply is irrelevant to my post then. Who gives a shit if he could have, that had nothing to do with what I wrote. Either your post was irrelevant or it can only mean what I interpreted it as.
I wrote that he's a fag for hitting his wife and then you quoted me and wrote a book about it so go finger yourself somewhere if you don't like my reply
If Sheldon gets off easy, and/or believes he got over, or that the cops were wrong in some way, and he doesn't somehow accept some responsibility and acknowledge mistakes, he will fuck up again. It will be just a matter of time. These vows and declarations by him are meaningless
You have to treat women differently than men where physical violence is involved because men are stronger than women.
Yeah, the petty moralizing here is pretty silly. Sure Richardson was arrogant and stupid and all that, but it's not like hes the wrost person in the world.
Been on vacation in Panama City, what the hell? Why can't Sheldon be more like the one on Big Bang Theory? He will be gone soon, either by the team or league. Dang waste of talent.
Saw this while I was working today. Wanted to flip out but couldn't because I didn't want to cause a scene.
