Calm down there slugger.... no need to get so personal. Mom jokes? Come on dog, you have better stuff than this.
I can only think that somebody so worried about anything related to Rex must be scared to death of him.
I would say motivation is both a strength and weakness of Rex Ryan. He will do a great job motivating you to play the Jets and Patriots. The games following those two will be duds (interesting that the Pats game follows the Jets game and then the end of the season is after the second Jets game). Also, the game following the bye week will be a complete dud as well.
I don't know what bills I'd going to use to hold up his pants tomorrow because his ass has been handed to him on a plate
How many times do I have to tell you that I think Rex should have been fired? Why you would waste your time going to find stating that 2 years ago when I'm ALREADY STATING THAT now is humorous. What exactly are you looking for? Maybe I can help you with that.
"but I think he's proven, at least for me, that he's not good enough as a head coach. I'd want better" Hypocrite
And once again... you know what, never mind. I guess you'll never be able to fully comprehend what I'm saying. You know what they say, you can't fix stupid.
I can already see this season will be more entertaining than seasons past for me on this board...........
I'm just confused, I don't think I'm stupid but your own comments indicate that you think Rex is a bad coach but now he is your coach and you think he's acceptable?
I don't think he's a bad guy or a bad coach. But he wore out his welcome with the Jets and didnt get the job done, and needed to go. Just like I dont think Gary Kubiak is a bad coach, but he needed to be fired from Houston because for whatever reason, he couldn't get them over the hump. I would have been happy with the Bills hiring him also. I also feel the same about Chan Gailey, Lovie Smith, and a bunch of other coaches. Just because you agree that they should be fired from a given team doesnt mean you also think they are "bad coaches." There are a lot of things in play that have to go right to have success, i.e. your players, coaches, GM relationship, draft, salary cap, schedule, injuries, etc. and if the results arent there at the end of the year or years, your coach and GM are to blame and need to move on. Doesn't mean it was necessarily them, themselves, if that makes sense. Rex is fine for me as a head coach because what were the alternatives? A bunch of other guys who were fired too or some coordinator who's never coached before. The Bills have a roster that is ready to win now, so I would not have hired a coordinator who has no head coaching experience, I would have gone with a retread coach who's had some success somewhere. Among those retreads, Rex is just as good as anyone else there. Most would say he was better. Who would you have picked over him? There's no difference between any of them. We'll see if he can do what no one else has been able to do the last 15 years.
Fair enough, I was just trying to gauge exactly what your thoughts were, I agree. I don't think Rex was a terrible coach and he did a lot of positive things for the Jets but after 5 years the franchise was regressing instead of getting better. He had to be shown the door but sadly I think he is stubborn and I don't see long term success in Buffalo. He might make the playoffs which is obviously a good thing but to be honest I think the only way Rex wins a SB is if he gets lucky.
I actually see a similar path with the Bills as to what happened with the Jets. The Bills should have a good next 2 years. After that we will probably have cap issues and need to purge the roster (we have a lot of high dollar players, GM's fault). There should be a dropoff after two years that will keep getting worse if the GM cannot find him a franchise QB. The ironic thing is that Rex will once again have little to do with the situation, but will get full blame and people will compare to the Jets. Rex better hope that our cap guys and GM can be proactive in handling what's about to come down the pike, otherwise it will be a similar fate.
2013 - cites the Jets records and states Rex has proven to him that he's not a good enough head coach and says he'd want better 2014 - Jets finish worse than they ever did under Rex at 4-12 2015 - Rex is hired by Bills... "Rex is fine for me as a head coach" Nope, no reversal there, nothing to see here folks
We understand your limitations. You don't have to keep embarrassing yourself over and over again. You are literally confirming what I'm saying with every post but you dont see it. Just stop.
