Go back and read that thread so you know what the hell I was even talking about. I posted that when Sanchez did pretty well with Philly. I said I guess we will see if that was real or a fluke. Meaning.... If it turns out to be real and Sanchez is good, then in my opinion, we know that Chip got more out of him and can then blame his failure with the Jets on his o-coordinators and Rex Ryan. If Sanchez's minor success ends and he turns out to suck balls like he always has, then we know it was Sanchez, i.e. if Chip (an offensive guru) can't get it out of him, it certainly isn't the previous coaches fault (Rex).

A somewhat decent point. But, lets not forget you had an avatar mocking Rex and Mark. I have no problem that you are excited that Rex is the Bills new head coach. I would be too. However, lets not pretend that you thought he was nearly this great coach when he wasnt a Bill.
That avatar mocked Rex's ball and chain relationship with Sanchez, which I think was utterly ridiculous. The guy had an infatuation with him for no good reason. He started what, like 6 games in college or something like that? Then Rex kept playing him even though he sucked. I'm not quite sure what you want me to say or why I need to explain anything.
You dont need to explain anything, of course. I'm fairly certain I never even tagged you originally. One of this boards posters wanted to know if you criticized Rex's ability to coach while he was a Jet. I took a few seconds, found a few quotes from you to show the inquiring poster, and picked one.
I'm sure I did. Don't remember anything specifically off-hand. The only things I can think of that I hated about the Jets when Rex was there was all the shit talking and then certain player decisions like Sanchez. IMO Rex is, and has always been, one of the best in two categories: defensive x's and o's and motivating players. Areas where he has been bad would probably be handling the media and I've seen around here "clock management" though I don't know about that first hand. I will certainly know this season. I think Rex fits what the Bills lacked. We have all the talent, but lacked confidence and winning expectations. I'm more excited about Roman running the offense though.

Wow, you're really stretching for something. None of that even fits a reversal, it actually cements what I said earlier. Rex should have been fired after those years, even he said so himself. The results weren't there. That doesn't mean somehow he does not instill confidence or is not a motivator. This is a results business, you dont perform, you're out. That doesn't mean his style doesn't fit what the Bills lack. I'm not a fan of Sanchez at all and said we will wait and see if he turns it around with Chip. Chip needs Sanchez to be a franchise guy, Bils don't. All we need is an average guy to win games as proven last year with Orton. I think we'd be fine with Sanchez in that role (unless he singlehandedly loses games) and we have the same as Orton in Matt Cassel. Orton, Cassel, Sanchez... who really cares? Throw them all up and pick one. None have distinguished themselves yet. I really dont see what you can't understand about any of that.
