The whole world must be laughing if it's on ABC. Goodell prob telling appeals guys and arbitrator not to smile when they hear the whole story. Too funny.

The whole deflator = losing weight thing is the spin artist attorney trying to throw out "plausible" possible interpretations to create reasonable doubt with the Wells report.

Funny thing is, once these absurd ideas are presented, the Patriots have to stand by them and, at this point, the Patriots are doing nothing but inflicting more self-harm than mitigating.

I see this bullshit gong around on Facebook about Massachusetts "surviving witch hunts since 1692" it's like are these people that stupid? Do they really think this is a witch hunt? Seriously.... why do they think the NFL would want to catch their 4 time super bowl champion cheating unless they are actually cheating? What good does that do the NFL? What benefit does the league get out of that? Those are questions none of them can answer.

Could someone please show any proof that Brady ever requested that the game balls be below 12.5 PSI. The reason Kraft is up in arms over this is that the punishment is WAY to over the top and doesn’t fit the “crime”. There is video proof of a ball being heated on the sidelines of a Carolina and Vikings game and what happened? A VERBAL WARNING!? There was a sticky substance on a Chargers ball this year, what happened? $20K Fine.

Patriots MAY have taken some air out of some over inflated balls and get hit with $1,000,000.00 fine, 1st and 4th round draft picks and a 4 game suspension for the best player in the game (again with NO PROOF that he requested balls under 12.5)!!?? In what world does that make any sense?

If you take a break from your circle jerk and take off your green colored glasses you’ll realize that it doesn’t.

The patriots were warned in 2004 for using improper balls. They have a history of cheating. They ignored warnings about spygate and then got caught cheating again. The league then changed the threshhold for proof of a violation to "more probable than not" due to spygate. They're repeat offenders and already had a warning which they again ignored. They also failed to cooperate refusing a second interview with THE MOST IMPORTANT person in the investigation and refused to provide Brady digital records.

Why should the Pats continue to receive warnings about cheating? How about they just stop fucking cheating? Did you ever even consider that? Why don't you direct your anger at the people committing the violations instead of the people who are forced to investigate and punish them for it? Do you believe the Pats should receive special treatment?

    The arrogance is astounding.

This isn't a murder trial, they don't require a smoking gun (note: murder trials don't even require a smoking gun. SEE: Hernandez, Aaron former Patriots TE). The preponderance of evidence indicates that Brady directed the locker room employees to deflate the balls in exchange for money and gifts. If he wanted the ball at 12.5psi why would they need to deflate it at all? Why would he be bribing a guy to go into the bathroom and deflate the balls after they had already been inspected by the refs? They would just inflate it to that amount and bring it to the refs as that's a legal amount. No problem. Why would they bring it to the refs at, say, 13psi and then have him deflate it within the legal limits after it's been checked? It makes no sense. Plus, even if that was the case it's still illegal because they are tampering with the balls after they have been approved by the refs.

Finally you are ignoring a few key pieces of information that I have yet to hear the most blind Pats fan defend adequately:
    1) If he's innocent of all charges why didn't Tom provide his electronic data that would prove his innocence?
    2) Why would Tom talk to the employees for the three days following the accident, send them text messages and bring them into his QB room for the first time ever? Are they exchanging cookie receipes or are they straigtening out their stories and/or Tommy boy bribing them to take the fall?
    3) Why did Tom lie about not knowing McNally?
    4) How do you account for Tom saying he doesn't even really pay attention to how inflated the footballs are despite being directly quoted previously that he likes the balls to be less inflated and the team even admitting that Tom had a diva moment regarding how over-inflated the balls were during the Jets game?
    5) Why did the Pats prevent Wells from interviewing McNally a second time despite him telling them he would go to McNally anywhere and at any time of day or even do it over the phone?

You're the one who needs to take off your homer glasses and realize your team cheated. Again. You can argue that the suspension is too harsh or whatever but don't try to argue that it didn't happen, it just makes you look ignorant.

No one player regardless of stature is bigger then the collective NFL. BRady and NE think they rule the NFL.

Again Chargers were caught red handed tampering with the ball and got a small fine for it. The Patriots MAY have (probably did) tampered w/ balls and get that BS penalty from the league. That was my point, the penalty for such a minor infraction is WAAAYYY to much. Goodell is a joke and needs to be replaced ASAP.

The reason he came down so hard was to appease the masses and try to gain back what little respect he had left after the debacle of a season he had in 2014 NOT because of “SPYGATE” which happened over 10 ago. Which the Pats more than paid the price that. LOL at filming (from the wrong spot) a coach that is doing hand signals in front of 80K people. Hell w/ HD TV you practically see the damn playbooks FFS.

My point was not whether or not they did it (they probably did) but at most this should have been a FINE only.

You're ignoring pretty much every reason why the penalty was what it was, not surprisingly. I hope you enjoy the sand your head is buried in.

If you aren't going to address the points being made why bother entering the discussion?

The Patriots should be allowed to do whatever they see fit in order to win. The rules are for other teams. The Pats are the best.

    Just a witch hunt.

And if there's anything we know about Massachusetts, it's that they know about surviving a witch hunt. Oh wait that's right Mass actually conducted the witch hunts and most of the people accused of being a witch were murdered during the trial

Atlanta was fined and a pick taken away for breaking league rules. Cleveland's GM was suspended 4 games (same as Brady) The New Orleans Saints got slammed by the NFL for Bountygate. Sean Payton was suspended for a year, etc. So how are the Patriots being picked on. Especially after previous transgressions. And what's this crap about the Chargers. It's like little kids saying "but he did it, too." Man up and shut up.
