He should also be denied entry into the HOF for cheating. You know this will wind up working in the Pats favor; Garappalo will come in for Brady after they suspend him for 4 games and play lights out and the Pats will be 4-0 during that stretch.
Good article on why brady, bellishit and the patriots should all get slammed really hard by the NFL..i suspect you will see more of them. http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl...-patriots-in-deflategate-aftermath/ar-BBjj59c
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 1h1 hour ago Some "more-probable-than-not", opening-night starters in Foxboro: NE QB: Jimmy Garoppolo NE RB: Jonas Gray PITT RB: DeAngelo Williams. lololol...almost forgot both starting RB's were already suspended for the NFL's 'marquee' opener.

You guys are way overreacting to this. Yes, its cheating and they look really bad. But this is typically a $25,000 offense if I recall correctly. Add in the fact that the league permits the teams to prepare their own balls, have no apparent mechanisms in place for quality assurance, and that it really didn't affect the outcome of the game in question, you are not going to see the NFL go thermonuclear here. At most a large fine, because of the failure to cooperate and Kraft flexing his beer muscles.
I think you are under reacting and I will be shocked if Brady isn't suspended. You forget who we are dealing with here and that they were warned that if there was ever another incident of cheating their entire past who be held against them.
So the league just spent millions of dollars on lawyers and a scientific research firm to investigate an incident that will only amount to a 25k fine? I don't buy it, maybe if it were a team that hadn't, say, been found guilty of cheating in one of the biggest public black eyes in NFL history less than a decade ago. Not to mention obstructing the investigation and lying to the league. The word of that rule stopped being relevant a while ago The league had it's chance to slap the Pats on the wrist with that rule and chose instead to go all out, there is no way this gets brushed under the rug now
Pats need to hand back the lombardi trophy and then my bookie needs to hand me back all the money I lost backing the Seahawks.
This is what Goodell wrote to the league owners in 2008 following the last Patriots cheating scandal: "Too often, competitive violations have gone unpunished because conclusive proof of the violation was lacking," Goodell wrote. "I believe we should reconsider the standard of proof to be applied in such cases, and make it easier for a competitive violation to be established. And where a violation is shown, I intend to impose more stringent penalties on both the club and the responsible individual(s). I will also be prepared to make greater use of draft choice forfeiture in appropriate cases. I believe this will have the effect of deterring violations and making people more willing to report violations on a timely basis." He used this to hammer the Saints. Now its time for the Cheatriots to be the nail.
Its not about the offense per se, its also about Brady lying about it. Add that to Kraft publicly downplaying the investigation like he runs the league (I sorta think he does, but I digress). There are 31 other franchises that could come down hard on this as I would think they would not want the same thing to happen to their own teams should they play the Patriots deep in their playoff run. I am also sure Kraft has no ally in Woody when they are discussing punishment amongst the owners.
And let's not forget what Goodell said to Payton when he suspended him for a year, "ignorance is not an excuse"....this certainly pertains to bellishit who claims he had no idea they were deflating balls.
That the cheating didn't effect THAT game should be ignored. It's a red herring. They beat the Ravens the week before with deflated balls and they beat them by only 4 points. There has GOT to be a reason Brady does it. While it's clear it wasn't to garner the extra 30+ points they beat the Colts by. But was it enough to garner those 4 points to beat the Ravens? In cold raw weather conditions? Come on MAN! _
Belli is far from ignorant. He taught us ALL about atmospheric conditions and weather and air pressure. _
This was a pre-meditated program to subvert league rules. Deflating the balls after they were approved by the NFL provided Brady with an edge. This edge likely resulted in Pats wins over the course of the last few seasons. It potentially could have been the edge needed to get the Pats past the Ravens in 2014 and got them to the SB. Brady and the Pats were non-cooperative to the investigation and initiated a campaign to discredit the investigtion. Brady lied multiple times and sought to discredit his accusers. That stupid "science" lesson by Belichick made him part of that campaign. He tried to blind everyone with science so he should be held personally responsible for the obsfucation, beyond just the fact it falls on the coach to know everything. If this doesnt result in at least a year suspension for Brady, multiple games for Belichick and draft picks for the organization it will show NFL office favoritism towards the Pats. Pats fans should STFU and take the punishment like men.
