Didn't say I didn't like him or the trade. He's a decent RB, I said it was better than what they'd have gotten in a trade. But he wasn't a steal IMO
I'll go back to Stacy and 7th. When you compare his agility and production in the SEC and overall first season in STL, it's above average value for a7th. He's made a roster, he's produced in the NFL (no matter the 3.9 avg.) He ha a better chance of success than most 7th rounders. Any time you can trade a 7th for a possible starter or timeshare RB (they're fungible assets now), I think you can consider a steal.
3.9 behind what I believe was a terrible OL. I'll take it for a 7th. Great job overall by the new FO.
Totally agree - actual NFL production over possible is preferred when you talk about a 7th round pick, not to mention he has decent hands and made 44 receptions for the Rams - given their QB situation when Bradford is down that is not bad and better than Ivory
