i think brown could be there. he didnt have a lot of time at tackle. he needed another year at this weight to really show who he is. whoever gets him could get a steal though. and i think some teams ahve him on their board as a G
I just think you're overreacting with the negativity. Lots of fans are also overreacting with green-tinted glasses. Either way is bad, IMO.
How much negativity am I allowed. Please let me know so I can react with the appropriate amount in the future.
Kysheon off the board, ironically with what would have been the Jets 6th round pick had they kept it.
I want this guy to still be there when we pick in the 7th round: Thompson, Tyrus OT 6'5" 336 Oklahoma He has played left tackle, but could be a great OG. Also would like one of these guys: Crisp, Rob OT 6'7" 300 N.C. State Fabuluje, Tayo OG 6'7" 360 TCU Shepherd, Austin OT 6'5" 320 Alabama Finney, B.J. C 6'4" 303 Kansas St. Lastly spend the last 7th round pick on Collins, La'el OT 6'5" 321 LSU
I don't know why but I'm just not an O'Leary fan. Maybe I'm wrong about him and he'll be a productive player. _
damn, the way this is falling I wish the Jets hadn't traded up in the 4th. A lot of guys who before the combine had 2nd and 3rd round grades. If anyone had said before the draft that Ifo, Prewitt, and Matias would all be on the board closing in on the 7th round they would have been laughed off the board.
If the Jets need a blocking TE, grab Ben Koyack out of Notre Dame. Very good blocker, doesn't get himself open much on offense but as a no.2 or no.3 TE, he would be cool in round 7. Notre Dame yet to get a single player picked The lone downside with Stanley returning I guess.
not really. a guy aving a second round grade only means that at least a few people have them there. if those teams dont take them and other teams have them lower on their boards then they dont go high. a 2-3rd rounder going in the 5-7th round isnt at all uncommon. none of those guys is a suprise to sill be around. none are cant miss players
It's not that uncommon perhaps, but these are guys who really produced. I'll take production over combine numbers any day of the week.
Have you watched him?? He's probably the most mechanically sound QB in the draft. His arm strength is fine.
CB may not be a need, but at this point I would be pretty happy if the CB from Ifo, the Corner from Oregon was one of our last picks......
not a need is an understatement: Revis, Cromartie, Skrine, Mcdougle, Milliner, Walls, Williams an 8th corner? hard to make the roster when you have fight 3 guys for a roster spot
