I studied the draft for months and months. that's my opinion. He's inferior to Aaron Donald who was not a top ten pick. He was our least pressing need. Vic Beasley is the best pass rusher and was on the board. Kevin White is a stud and was still on the board. I'm just disappointed.

Should of traded back. Regardless of how good he might turn out, the Jets do not need another defensive lineman.

They can definitely get him on the field. And if the offers weren't any good, it's not easy to just say trade back.

I recall a ton of people on the board being upset with the Richardson pick.

Did you listen to what Macc said? They fielded offers, none of them were worth accepting. You would have rather they took a bad deal instead of drafting Leonard Williams?

You don't know anything you've proven it time and again. I'm not concerned with your opinion on my drinking tendencies.

It means that you guessing what people here have been thinking doesn't mean fucking shit.

Or just pay him big money, he's definitely earned it, and draft a stud WR like White? If we trade Mo we basically threw away our first round pick.

Ah I got it. It's the drunk guy on a Jets message board that has his finger on the pulse of the draft. Not the GMs.

And then we have to pay a ton for Richardson right after that...We need to be smart. I want to resign Wilkerson, no doubt. Lets see what happens. Maybe we get a great trade offer or we resign him

Fair enough, I studied it as well and came out with a much better opinion of him. I also really liked Vic BEasley, however. I wanted him at the 6th but Williams would have been my close 2nd pick (and he's BPA. I would have picked Beasley factoring in need).

It's incredible the jets fell into this position.. I understand Williams was arguably the best player in the draft, but it's a position we have 0 need at. If we needed a do lineman this would have never shaken out like this, of course we don't and we end do with the best one in the draft. this is my jet life. Lol

The Jets probably had to make this pick if they couldn't get a good enough offer to trade down. What concerns me are his shoulder issues. He had surgery after the 2013 season and it was still bothering him at the combine where he didn't lift because of it.

You have a short memory, the same amount of people that want offense now wanted offense back then

Exactly. Looking at this teams draft history, i would trust a drunk two fold over the GM.

or we can pay money to a sure thing edge pass rusher or focus on offense. kevin white was a great prospect but had his faults. plus where would white fit decker and marshall? only wr i'd take over williams is cooper

If Jets can get DGB, they will go to superbowl.

Maybe I have been drinking. Doesn't matter. Go jets
