Started terrible and had 1 100 yard game all year, hardly the receiver as billed. Most of his receptions were in absolute garbage time. If you were happy with Decker last year ok then...

Nah. I'm upset. I'm upset I waited a year for this moment and we made the worst pick so far.

We needed a pass rusher, right?

He's not a pass rusher unless I'm mistaken.

Thinking Mo Wilk may really be trade bait.

Anyone who dislikes this pick, I don't understand.

Literally almost every professional evaluator had him as a top 2 prospect, most #1 prospect of the entire draft. The Jets absolutely got a great value.

Our receivers are good enough for this year. So you either add White as a weapon for a non-franchise QB, overreach for one of the OLB, or take the guy who is BPA and arguably the best defensive player in the draft.

I'm guessing that you're more than halfway. I really love Beasley but Williams is a monster

I guarantee that 99% of the parrots talking about "we got the best player in the draft" knew nothing about this guy until 30 minutes ago.

There defense wasn't good last year. This defense has the chance to be legendary. I wanted white to but you can't argue taking possibly the best player in the draft.

I just hope this doesn't make us trade Wilkerson

In a vacuum it's a great pick...considering we already have used first rounders on Coples, Wilkerson, Richardson in recent years it seems excessive.

Used Free Agency to cover needs. Macc said he would choose best player available and he was true to that.

The biggest need was QB, and despite trying, both top QBs were gone and it was out of their control. WR is not as big of a need (but could be added to). Oline needs help, but Scherff was chosen and any other lineman would be a reach.

There is so much turnover on the roster that in a couple years time, Wilk or Sheldon might not even be on the roster. It also opens up leverage against Wilkerson as well as trade options.

It was the best pick imo.

And that means what? Why would I sit around on a Jets board posting when there's nothing going on but endless BS mock drafts and bloviators talking about "he's the best player in the draft, BPA I say"...

This was our era's WE WANT SAPP moment...BPA player we overlooked for a TE. Leonard was the best player defensively graded in this draft. How do you not pick him at #6 unless you trade him?

You go with him and figure shit out afterwards
