Winston was not charged by the Tallahassee police department and was also cleared of violating the Florida State University code of conduct.
She's bringing a civil suit against him. Because she claims that the police and FSU basically didn't proceed in court or via the University (in terms of discipline) even though there was a witness to what she claims was a rape. In other words she's saying they let him get away with a sexual assault because he was the QB on a national championship football team. A lot of people think that way including me. Also she was told by a FSU counselor that Jameis was accused by another woman of sexual assault. I don't think she's after his money. If so she'll accept a settlement. We'll see.
