Then why did 2 players on this team last season(Josh Thomas/Demario Davis) flat out question the preparation and learning that these players were having every week? Or is that just sour grapes from those players?

Rex also has yet to win a single game coming off a BYE, is that really on the players? To go on a Dave and Busters trip before Buffalo punched the team in the mouth 2 seasons ago, to take a mini vacation the week prior to a 7-6 loss to the Packers at home, is that on the players? Rex got a lot of his guys pre-Idzik for the NFL Draft and sans a few guys, those draft picks did not help out these past 2 seasons.

Rex was not awful, I agree with you there...........but the man had some serious flaws and I completely understand why fans don't like how Rex has handled himself since becoming Bills head coach.

 

I have no problem with Amaro comments.

Rex's response is Rex just being Rex. It's comments like these that made him who he is to begin with.

Rex's act got old later in his tenure here but that Crowder line might be favorite off the field thing he did. Truly hilarious and another reason why he had so many fans.

 

What exactly does he need to back up? He called out Rex. It's not like he made some stupid prediction.

Not really. The expectations are not what they used to be. The Bills beating the Jets would not be an upset. The Jets beating the Bills would be. Remember, the Jets have nowhere to go but up. We hit rock bottom last year and if it wasn't for that inspiring win against a disinterested Dolphin team, we'd be in the Mariota sweepstakes without perhaps having to move up.

 

You may be right that is the reason. Still it is notable he did not address that subject.

He needs to earn his own respect in this league before calling out a head coach who has had plenty of success in the past. Never said it was a prediction.

A good performance on the field is much stronger then calling out a HC in the off-season.

Just any positive impact on the game would be much helpful, could be a crucial catch, a TD, a big time block.

I hope he has a career game against Rex, but I wouldn't expect it - just help us win.
