I got you as late 30's to late 40's-- mustache and glasses, watches lots of porn, dark brown/black hair with high level of receding; kind of like this guy:
You need to tell me where your barber shop is cuz your rows look tight and mine look like a frayed rope
If they put me on someone's shoulders and put me on the scoreboard, I could definitely get 70k people cheering. This year, it was completely lame with the one new person per week. They did it during pre. game warm-ups or some weird random time. The stadium is a bad one, and as the team has gotten worse since it's opened, more and more people sell their tickets to recoup some money to help pay their PSLs. Firemen Ed was not the reason for the louder crowd, he just left when things started going bad do it looks that way. Bad stadium + bad team + half the other team's fans = bad crowd.
Man that was like when I went to San Diego, I used to have season tickets for the Chargers so I know their fans are really just a bunch of Raider fans who are butthurt their team bolted for the Bay Area so sadly you get a lot of the same fans without the press coverage because they don't dress up like the Legion of Doom. I had some fat fuck throwing shit at my wife and picking on a mentally disabled kid who was at the game with his 70 year old grandfather so I finally got up and was about the get my ass kicked because he was a big dude and he was above me but I would have gone right for his fucking larynx hoping to incapacitate him but if it didn't work I'd have been fucked but when you assault my wife that's where I draw the line, you want to talk shit do so all day but when it gets physical you cross the fucking line. Right as I was walking up to him two other Charger fans grabbed him and held him while a 3rd grabbed security and I watched this fat fuck get cuffed and walked away, I just waved as he was foaming at the mouth talking about how he "cut me" and fuck me up. I've had more problems in San Diego with asshole fans than I have at any other stadium I've been to and I've been to Philadelphia and Oakland so that says a lot.
I had 2 different experiences in Foxboro. the first was kind of like you mentioned though no one touched me outside of a "tough guy" kind of pushing me a little as he was walking up the stairs and I was walking down. the next time was our playoff win there and all day long from tailgate through the end of the game the fans couldn't have been better. HUGE difference.
I figured his neck was big enough and hitting him in the gut would have been a fruitless attempt at hurting this fat fuck
everytime i ever went to foxboro there were less than 25k there. granted that was all before 2000 but it used to be an empty stadium. my mom and i used to feel bad for the patsies.
