Coples? So we don't care if the replacement is horrible?

I feel like the Coples haters just don't see all the good that he does. He's not elite, but Coples definitely flashes some incredible talent. And it's not uncommon either, but it just gets ignored on here.

I think Coples is talented. I just don't think he has any business on a 3-4 defense. Put him on a 4-3 line and I think he's an 8-10 sack/season guy.

Quite strangely, he was most effective inside when he was at UNC. When he lined up wide at DE, he wasn't all that effective - which was why he slipped all the way down to 16th.

I think at the NFL level he's most suited to play 4-3 LE. Just my opinion of course.

This, Coples is best at DT, were he was originally at UNC and his first year primarily with the NYJ, he is much better in close quarters over a guard and center.

The more i think about having possibly the best secondary and d-line + Todd Bowles crazy DB schemes and heavy blitz play calling... The more i think we might be in for a very special year.
