per schefter. Apparently the Eagles like the Sanchez/Tebow combo we had. Please, please let this happen.
They aren't signing him at least at this time. And he didn't apply for the veteran combine which is mostly for players who have recently been on an NFL roster or practice squad. I'm glad to see him at least get a tryout. If he isn't signed ok but he deserves a chance to try out.
There is a report today that if the Eagles can trade Matt Barkley there is an 80% chance they will sign Tebow. But if he is "fixed" like Tom House is saying and throwing spirals all over the place why not just sign him. I have seen no info on how his workout went. I guess the Eagles aren't afraid of losing him to another team.
Barkley took over for Mark at USC and had a good career there. If he had left after his junior year he might have been a 1st round pick. He just never fit into Chip's system. So I could see interest in him for a conditional 6th or 7th round pick. I'm not a Tebow hater and think he should have gotten a chance to play when Sanchez crashed in 2012. Rex had nothing to lose. If he was horrible just pull him.
I dont see why he should not be given another chance. I mean the NFL gives all these other assholes 4th and 5th and 6th chances, why not Tebow? He might actually be good.
i just saw an article on garbage espn that had mark sanchez basically calling tim tebow training camp fodder. it was kind of funny.
he wasnt a dick about it... he said "He's obviously a great guy, he works hard. And we needed another guy to throw while [Sam Bradford] is still recovering," Sanchez said please dont click the link... fuck espn http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/1...-another-guy-throw-camp-sam-bradford-recovers
