Per sources Stevie Johnson has left New England WITHOUT signing.

Probably because they can't afford him. We still have close to 20 million in cap space left but I would rather draft a WR, save the money.

I hear a lot of fans complaining we spent too much money, but we are still in great shape.

I still expect one more big signing. Gresham or Stevie Johnson. With the new rookie contracts, we only need to go into the draft with $3-4 million.

Stevie Johnson makes a ton of sense for us, but I can honestly see the FO not wanting to get into a situation where they sign Johnson, then have Cooper or White available at 6. If you pass on either of them, you're probably passing up the best player available. If you draft them, you're wasting money on Stevie Johnson AND Jeremy Kerley.

How can we still have close to $20 million in cap space? Are you sure? I don't see how that could be possible.

I'm surprised Wisnieski has not signed yet. I think it would be great if the Jets signed him, that way they don't have to worry about drafting any lineman as they'd have signed two 25 year olds this offseason. It also allows them to focus the draft on skilled player/playmakers.

On a side note, anyone else want the Jets to sign Greg Hardy? Imagine him on a 1 year prove it deal with Richardson and Wilkerson on the same line. Wow.

You're right it's not adjusted yet for them. What I wish wasn't on there is the 3.5 million to Milliner; kid was picked way too high in the draft.
