Not to mention he somehow failed to find 1 wr to contribute as a rookie is the deepest wr class in years

This is a very foolish statement and your opinion. Every single player drafted by Idzik is on an NFL roster. Both drafts were given C+ to B grades. Already Winter and Oday and Bohannon have been starters from the 2013 draft. What happens if Geno and Milliner have good years. There is no way under 2 years you can make this kind of evaluation. It's irrational.

I can't believe people start these threads still.. The guy was the absolute worst and 90 examples are given and it's just gets ignored.. Now we're down too well if he wasn't so bad at what he did macvagnan wouldn't look so good now . Lol how anyone tryies to justify this bafoon and the job he didn't do, is beyond me.

Winters and Oday are garbage they started because we had no one else

Milliner was part of the 5 baring he's even able to stay healthy

    Geno sucks until proved otherwise

It's not irrational at all no1 is saying these rookies or 2nd year players should have lit the world on fire but almost none of them contributed AT ALL.

Deepest wr class in years and we failed to get 1 serviceable wr. Not 1 contributed in anyway when we seen a bunch of other rookie wrs contribute on other teams. Shit Saunders was our first wr taken and he got cut

    It's amazing really.

You couldn't throw a dead cat and not hit a stud WR in last year's draft.

Yet somehow Idzik did. It's like he was purposefully not trying.

Idzik signed the best and most expensive Wr in 2013 free agency and spent his first round pick on a Db to rebuild the secondary. He still drafted 3 Wrs two of whom are still in the organization. Why they cut Saunders: I don't understand that move. He did pretty well with the Saints. Also 2014 is another good year for wide receivers. So if Mac doesn't draft one do we fire him.

This is a new year wr is not as big of a need as other positions like it was last season

What does them still being in the organization have to do with it being good picks? Last time we heard about shaw Evans he was dropping every pass thrown his was in training camp and other dude I won't even attempt to type his name did jack shit last season couldn't even break the line up behind d other horrible wrs

If we draft a WR this year Evans will be turning his playbook in to The Turk in August.

You usually have only one first round pick. Idzik (probably with Rex's blessing) took Pryor who was a highly rated safety. It's pretty obvious the secondary had to be rebuilt. Actually the Jets were interested in Watkins and Beckham. Both guys were selected before they picked. So I find no fault at all in taking Pryor. Esp after the Decker signing. Shaq Evans and Quincy could still end up being contributors.

Highly unlikely either so anything close to contributing I'll be suprised if they even see the field

I'm well aware the jury is still out a few players from the last 2 drafts remaining on the roster......there is still hope for Milliner and Pryor . There should be hope considering they were first round selections!! If you read My post I said most of his draft picks have missed and they have. Geno Smith? Not the answer......Winters? Back up material. Jalen Saunders? Cut.....that QB Boyd? Doesn't even belong on an NFL roster.....I could go on.

Let's not even get into his mid season press conference explaining these moves or the state of the team. The man was embarrassingly overwhelmed.

You have a right to your opinion. You liked his drafts. That's fine. I simply prefer to see how the current administration plays out with the cap space left available. Idzik was a numbers guy hence the cap room. His player evaluations left a lot to be desired.....

I'm not giving Idzik an A or a B or even a C+ but I won't give him an F either because it's irrational. He only had two years and his first year the team was 8-8. If the team went 8-8 this past year he wouldn't have been fired. He gets an I for Incomplete. His drafts cannot be intelligently graded yet because it's too soon. Some players take time to develop. And not everybody is a star. Drafting guys like Bohannon and Reilly in the 7th round were smart picks.

I didn't even say I liked his drafts. All I said was too early to give final grades on. I'm not an Idzik fan. I just think he shouldn't have been fired after only 2 seasons.

If Iziot was still around and not Ryan for this season, what make you think that he would have done what Mac has currently done?

I thought you wanted him to draft Bridgewater. Which is it then. Teddy or a wide receiver!
