Wouldn't it be a kick in the groin if they get Woody on this (based on a complaint from the Patriots) and let Kraft walk on Deflategate.

doesn't sound like anything to worry about. They sent officials to monitor several negotiations, the Revis one was just the most notable.

It says they sent an investigator to monitor negotiations, not to do any digging now.

Again, I want to reiterate that we shouldn't worry. The NFL has never taken away draft picks simply b/c a team talked about a player under contract to the media. Even though both are technically tampering, the NFL has only ever taken away draft picks when a team illegally talked to a player or his agent.

We will get a fine at the most.

Agreed. After Deflategate and the lack of any punishment, the NFL would look like the biggest hypocrites if they levied any significant punishment for what was a mindless "slip of the tongue". It wasn't as if the Jets were calling Revis' cellphone non-stop asking him to drop by Jets offices.

They sent them to see if the Jets broke the legal tampering window. That's an investigation.

Nothing will be released right now. I guess we have to wait and see. Better hope to all hell Woody didn't do something stupid

At least they are investigating several teams instead of singling us out.

Yeah, this is a non story and has nothing to do with Woody's blunder of 2 months ago ow whenever it was. It also says they send investigators to a whole shitload of teams offices.

I agree it will probably end up being nothing, but you can't call it a non story. The NFL is clearly pissed about all of the early indications of signings. The Jets are bring investigated for it. That's never a good thing. Especially the way he explains it in the video posted. He says "most notably the Jets" or something to that extent.

Bullshit? Probably. Non story? I don't believe that

Perhaps the NFL has concluded that they can save time and money by just assuming the Patriots are guilty.

    Works for me.

Except it is only most notably in this schmucks opinion. Probably another of the million reporters on Kraft's payroll.

I don't expect anything to come out of it. But you never know with Kraft pulling Goodell's strings

To me at least most notably would be Miami (where I am sure they also went) and where I believe the Suh deal was announced even before the 3 day window opened.

Yes they went there. In fact, before this report I posted, Miami was said to be their main target
